I’ve been playing for a little over 2 months now and managed to catch up to most content (Story, LWS, HoT, etc). Recently started doing fractals (PF: 26). Almost zero experience with explorable dungeons and zero experience with raids. I’m looking for a well-established and balanced (semi-casual/hardcore) guild with a good amount of active members (around a 100, or could be more) that do runs on raids/fractals/dungeons, guild missions (for ascended accessories) and WvW representing Ring of Fire.

Player: PvE mostly, with WvW.

For many of your questions, the Wiki (link above, or accessed in-game by typing /Wiki [topic of choice] into the chat window) is a great resource.

You would, indeed, have to do the first part of the first HoT Story Episode to unlock Masteries, though you would also need a Core or HoT Mastery Point(s) to unlock the Mastery, depending on whether the Mastery is Core Tyria or HoT.

Some players that are skilled can solo Dungeons. You can use the LFG feature to find others to play instanced-content, should you so desire.

There are many ways to make Gold; one way is to sell Gathering Materials, either from acquiring them with Gathering Tools in maps, or salvaging gear, etc.

Hello guys, I just have some questions regarding the game. So I’ve started playing this game just this month, prolly just over 2 weeks now. Yesterday I bought HoT since I really did enjoy playing the game, especially the dynamic events, world bosses and the Personal Story; I wanted more.

Thing is since activating the HoT, I’ve noticed that the exp bar keeps showing a pop-up box saying mastery is full and changed from 254k exp to 635k exp. How do I activate it? I’m not sure of this yet, but would that require me doing the HoT storyline? Which brings me to another question. I have checked Story Journal and there’s HoT and Living World Season 3 that I can begin the story with. Which one should I prioritise and why?

Also what are the beginner ways to make money here besides getting the 2g if you complete daily and World Bosses. So far that’s the only things I’ve been doing in the game this past few days. Are there any dungeons/fractals that I can solo? I play P/P thief. Or like other content that I can start working with. Starting at the bottom thing.
