Gee thanks, this was one of the main reasons as to why i rolled an engi, and why i love it. So thanks a lot for that.

Speedy kits. Really? This was probably THE main reason as to why i made an engi. The mobility, the ability to get from one place to another at a reasonable pace. I mean you only spend half the time running around right? I’ll thank you when i manage to keep up with you.

And while they’re doing all this crap, one guy at the staff metting must’ve been like:

And even funnier than the engineer NERFS would be the warrior nerfes, i feel for you guys, you guys got slammed to the ground. I mean, warrior is just the weakest class in the game, let’s make them weaker, who the hell comes up with this kitten?

So i bought 2 of the same ascended rings, the clestial version. Turns out, i can’t wear two of the same rings! So i just wasted THREE WEEKS (+) gathering laurels, FOR NO REASON AT ALL. Because the game doesn’t kiteen tell you that you can’t!!!!!!!!! This is so UNBELIEVABLY DUMB, it’s unreal. Now i’ve been playing for a long while, but i’ve usually mixed armor and gone hybrid.

This time i thought i’d go actual hybrid by going full cele on my engi, guess i was wrong ANET screws me by not giving ANY warning what so ever, and having NO option to get my laurels back, now if a mod/GM doesn’t answer me, as to why i can’t get my laurels back i’ll quit this game.

I will not accept me having spent a month of my time logging in EVERY single day, just to get screwed this way!!!

Get me my laurels back/give me the “defensive” ascended WvW ring. Or i will seriously quit this game, i know the comments from players will be “bye”.

But this is beyond stupid, i’ve played for more than 2 years, on and off. I’ve never bought the same ring twice, now i did, and i get kittenED, due to a stupid system, that doesn’t allow me to sell the ring back to the vendore to get laurels? God how LAME is that? It’s beyond kittened! Get me my kitten back, FAST. This is beyond dumb. Seriously!

Now. I usually pay actual money for gems, to buy outfits and stuff like that. Cause i can afford it, not that it should matter. I get money, but i don’t get 3 weeks of my time back! Now you people had better REFUND the laurels or i’m gone. Permanently.

All I see is that when you are 80 you have the PvP which is cool, but its kinda lame if you compare it to other games (to clerifty, the PVP here is the best ive seen in any mmo in my life, but I mean, in other mmos when someones reaches lvl 80 he gets more kinds of game content that is not available to everyone else)

No. Other games (MMOS) will make you farm for gear for months on end when you reach max level. They will make you suffer through painful pvp where you’ll be undergeared for like 6 months.

This game has ELEVIATED these issues, there are still things to do though.

You can farm for Ascended gear if you want to.

PvE (though it is a bit “weaker” than some other Mmo’s)

Personally i think it’s a good thing that Exotic is almost as good as Ascended, it makes wvw pvp/roaming fair and skill based, not gear based.

So i’ve been playing for the better part of a year now. Throughout that year my ping would be around 50-60. Now all of a sudden it’s at 150-160, and it’s stable.

I didn’t move.
Same internet provider.
I know for a fact that my internet is fine.

I already paid 50 bucks plus tax for the game. Why am I still paying/grinding every time I want some decent/new/change. they are using a f2p model and still charging people.

And don’t give me non-esesential bullcrap. The whole thiing is non essential. Its a game you don’t need any of it.

However, I paid for it and I want that model of an experience out of it. That’s what people expect if they pay for a game.

So i suppose they should just start handing these items out then? Here you go, 50 appearance changes a day, oh you want to rename your character 500 times a day? Sure, here you go.

You got what you paid for, you don’t need ANY of these items to play the game to its full extent. Don’t want to grind? Buy gems, it’s kindergarten logic. You should kitten and be happy that you can get these items without paying real money, and getting gold in gw2 isn’t exactly very hard either.

The OP doesn’t make his case well, but there is a damage problem with Mesmer.

Mesmer only does good damage in very specific situations. I can assure you that they are the worst damage when it comes to killing trash. This makes them awful in open world.

Yeah this mechanic is just outright stupid in WvW, they will attack and stealth all day, i play ranger, i don’t have the AoE you people are talking about. So when they attack and i push them back, why can they just restealth? I just wasted my ONE reliable hard CC, meanwhile the thief just regens all his hp in stealth, and won’t let me reset combat, balance right there.

I’d rather have them have perma-stealth until they initiate combat than the way that it is now. It’s ridiculous that they can attack, restealth then repeat this an unlimited amount of times, it’s actually impossible for me to do anything about this whatsoever if i’m solo roaming.

But hey it’s been made clear to me that anet just straight up hate rangers. 30% of our damage is our pet, which makes 30% of our damage kittened and hey, you can kill them. Combine all of this with our crappy mobility and a thief that’s flying around stealthing all day makes for an impossible fight, against anyone decent anyway.

So like, sure it let’s you see yourself in the kitten y T shape with the sound effects, but it someone else uses the box then you can’t see it on them. Nor can they see you in the T shape. So, what’s the point?

Having the same issue, happened after the stronghold bet arrived.

I can play WoW and other mmos just fine, no spikes what so ever.

Gw2 however it constantly spikes up to like 500 for 2 seconds then drops.

It’s unplayable for me atm, fun.

Why can someone stand on a ledge above me and shoot me? What can i possibly do in this situation? It’s die or, you know, die. Oh and i had a bow, funny how i wasn’t allow to shoot him I love dying by stupid kitten like this!

And this happens all the time, if i’m on my guard the game will tell me that i can’t use that path when trying to teleport up to them, it’s kinda stupid tbh.

I’m so fed up with this. We literally have NO mobility, all we have is a puny, pathetic and straight up laughable little dash.

No viable swiftness skills.

The teleport on the sword is also the most worthless thing ever, considering that after you teleport to them they’ll just run away from you and spam /laugh.

The GS 2 which is almost ALL of our damage is also a laughable skill, since you can’t stick on them, so they just port away, when its done they come back and kill you.

And even if you can bring the enemy down to 10% hp, guess what? You still won’t be able to kill him. He’ll either run away from you, dash away from you or just straight up teleport away from you, and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it.

This class is just worthless when it comes to anything but PvE or zerging.

I mean come the kitten on, just look at warriors, they have the LONGEST dash ever, and then guess what? Another dash using the same weapon! Oh and their dashes deal insane damage too, must be nice. Then they swap to hammer or whatever and gets a ccs for days.

So i guess i’m just tired of being kited while not being able to do a single thing about it, i’m tired of people being able to run away all the time.
Like, at least don’t make our damaging skills require the enemy to literally be right next to us for us to do damage, while giving us no skills that would allow us to do so.

I’m just done with this kitten, it’s frustrating and just pure bs. A melee class with no cc, like, did you even logic while making this class?

And just don’t even suggest me running staff or shouts on a medi guardian.

I’m too fed up with this, rolling a guard, rant over.

The fact that GW2 does not have controller support honestly enrages me. The game would play so much smoother if it did, and It’s obviously possible because programs like XPadder and Pinnacle Game Profiler make it work (near) flawlessly. But we shouldn’t have to pay for third party software to play a game the way it was meant to be played. So I ask you ArenaNet, why is there no support for controllers? And would it honestly be that difficult to implement?

The players in PVP are bad enough using K/M, imagine them using a controller? The horror.

If they implement controller support i’ll leave.

So like, how are we supposed to fight the other worlds when they’re outnumbering us like 8 to 1? It’s ridiculous seeaing 250 people come at our 30, and all we get is a crappy “buff”?

If you WON’T lock down servers, then at least make a proper buff.

Brief description of what you’re seeing: Well i’m porting all over the place, trying to dash and i end up at the very same spot. did a connection test on 4 different sites, it’s fine, it’s not on my end. Same happened to my friend today earlier too.

I am playing with the same friend right now and he’s having no issues.
