Of course it runs hot. It’s doing a lot of processing.
READ – PROCESSORS GET HOT
Are you being serious? Any laptop with some self-respect got a decent cooling solution to take care of heating issues.
Of course the processor is getting hot, but the body of the laptop is a totally different case. If the body is getting hot, the cooling solution is either too weak or the laptop was never meant to utilize the power of the hardware.
Is this a problem with all MacBook’s or just the retina one?
I’m wondering about purchasing a MacBook, but if it gets too hot to use I don’t really see the point in buying one.
Guess I will have to visit the local Apple retailer and look at the different sizes. I dont really like the big 15" laptops.
Is the 2.3Ghz, 4GB ram, nvidia 650 512MB powerful enough or would I need the 2.7ghz, 8gb ram, nvidia 650 1GB setup? There’s a massive price difference :<
Will I be able to play GW2 on a MBP 13" with the Intel HD 4000 GPU or do I need the extra power from nvidia 650?
The 13" just looks sokittennice :|
Edit: Bahaha, nice profanity filter!
I’m looking into purchasing a new laptop for studies and since I’m getting really tired of windows I’m open to try something new.
Which MacBook would I need to run GW2?
Would it run on the MacBook Air or do I need the extra power from the nvidia 650 GPU?
MacBook Pro 15" (The 13" doesnt seem to come with nvidia) is quite a bit more expensive compared to the non-nvidia versions and I’m more tempted toward a 13" laptop as they are easier to carry around.
Anyone tried running GW2 on a MacBook?
