Greetings, 3 level 80 exotic geared players seek a semi casual PvE guild on the Underworld server. We’re a family group so we do want to stick together and be part of the same guild.
The group consist of 80 Ranger, Warrior & Mesmer mains with level 80 Warrior and Element a list ALTs, all exotic gear.
We’re not into PvP at all, perhaps a little WvWvW but it’s not our focus. We’re interested in guild missions, dungeons, open world events etc.
We’re also MMO veterans since EQ1 days so we’re familiar with gameplay mechanics and so on. A couple of us are avid crafters,.
We don’t however want a large “pixel army” guild, so if you’re one of those that boasts hundreds of members you’re not what we’re looking for…..sorry.
We would prefer to stay on underworld as the cost to move 3 accounts is off putting but we will consider other servers if we feel we fit the guild.
We have voice comms but do not want a guild where the expectation is to spend your life on team speak. We’ll use them for events etc and to be social but not 100% Of our online time. We have children and don’t wish to close ourselves off with headsets every evening.
The characters I can usually be found on are Drachenfells and Drachenfell, feel free to send a whisper if you’d like to ask anything.
Finally those who are having their armour skin removed have had no contact from Anet explaining why, it will just happen. Some of those players won’t visit these boards and it will be something of a shock to them. I really couldn’t hurt to email and apologise in advance now, could it?
Aren’t you kinda assuming here? They didn’t even remove the skin yet and for sure they know perfectly well who bought it. There’s nothing preventing them from sending an ingame courier at the same time they update the skin.
The decision has been made it would appear and the item removed from the Gem store. Why do Anet need to wait before contacting those who purchased this, especially to the point where any contact is made at the point of the change.
It really is basic customer service.
There are three real problems with this whole situation.
The first is the only people who have been penalised are those who have supported Anet with gem purchases (I’d suggest with real-life cash in most cases)that’s not the best business practice.
The second is this essentially that it’s difficult to trust the gem store now. A precedent has been set that what you pay for and purchase may not necessarily be what you get. That’s bound to make some people think twice about buying anything from the gem store now.

Unfortunately we are unable to relocate to Desolation as it always reads as a full server.
I do thank you for the reply though.
We are still looking for a suitable guild.
As the title states we’re a married, mature couple who enjoy gaming in GW2. We’re currently on Aurora Glade but don’t mind moving should we find the right fit.
We’ve a PvE preference having done no PvP at all so far, we’re not opposed to giving it a try but our main focus is all aspects of PvE. We haven’t really experienced much in the way of group content so we’d be starting from scratch there but we’re MMO veterans and don’t expect any problems.
We’re looking for a smaller, mature guild, we don’t wish to join any pixel army of hundreds of members. We’re active, online most evenings and weekends and are usually available to help out with most events.
We are sociable but don’t want to feel compelled to be on Teamspeak / Ventrilo all evening as we have a family. We also have a 16 year old who plays casually who would need to be welcome as well.
Kind regards
Drachenfells (80 Ranger)
Drachenfell (80 Warrior)
