before those 2 minutes, he was attacking a keep, he left.

then he met up with you.

while downed, his friends captured the keep, and he gained some exp.

I guess that’s what happened. The more I think about it the more him getting up and fist pumping looked like a level up. Though he has to be the luckiest brigand around for a ding at 1% downed hp…The whole affair seemed fishy, is all.

I’m only posting a new topic because I’m having trouble finding a related topic/discussion. If there is one for me to be directed to, please do.

Last night I was doing some WvW with friends and I came upon an enemy human thief out of position and seemingly unaware. Playing as my mesmer, I unloaded on him and he immediately started to run. A short chase later and he was downed. I continued to damage him down, but just as his downed hp reached 0-1% he sprang up, fist pumped, and suddenly had full health. He continued to run back to his server’s spawn and I, stunned by what happened, did not continue the chase.

I am aware that at some point there was a bug where a mesmer’s clones shattering near a player may cause them to rally, but this does not explain his full health. It is also possible that somehow he gained enough exp to level up though I am not sure if this event can instantly rally and heal a player. At this time I am attempting to find an explanation before I light the torches and grab the pitchforks and scream “Cheater!!”
