New kit idea - Weapon modification kits?

I was thinking about the whole engineers and legendaries issue and thought of something fun. A kit that “modified” the weapon you were wielding. e.g. Have a rifle mod kit that turns our shotgun into more of a sniper rifle. You equip the kit and it replaces your 1-5 with new skills. You get the keep the appearance of your current rifle, but add a scope/effect, so that you can see it’s the rifle kit.

For the pistol, I was thinking something like a silencer to make it more of an assassin style weapon.

Engineers are tinkerers, let us tinker with our own weapons.

Anyway, let me know if you think this would work.

Would a SD bomb build work?

I chose pistol/shield just so I can stack more confusion and have access to one more blast finisher for might/stealth. I’m looking to play this mostly in pve right now. Any recommendations for runes/orbs?

I was tinkering with the standard sd grenade build, and I was wondering if a bomb build would work? You can stack confusion pretty well with the pistol, bomb kit, and pry bar, lots of cripples and roots, and 3 blast finishers for the fire field. Let me know what you think.

For scepter I’d go either 30/0/0/10/30 or 10/30/0/10/30.

That second build is 80 points of 70 maximum, you sir have bent the realm of possibilities, tell me how to do this.

Lol, my bad. I meant 0/30/0/10/30.

Any good power builds?

Not really technically a power build, but it’s not really a condition build. I use the turret to stack more might, and the toolbelt skill to spam SD as much as possible while using the FT. It’s pretty active and can tag/take down mobs pretty kitten quick.

Nope Kit damage is kit damage, you’ll get the stat increases, but the base damage of the kit won’t increase if you have an ascended/legendary weapon.

For either build, full zerker is the way to go. Like it was stated above, even with some vit and tough gear, you still get taken down quickly. My view is to take them down first

For scepter I’d go either 30/0/0/10/30 or 10/30/0/10/30. The first one uses blast finishers and fire fields to stack might and fury like crazy, while the second one uses the fresh air trait to supplement damage a fair amount. You should be able to find the “Fresh Air” and “Might Stacking” builds all over the forum.

Flamethrower is also a viable option. I played a grenade build from lvl 15 to 80, but it just got boring to me. I now use a 10/30/0/30/0 build that does almost as much damage, but gives me more survivability. With juggernaut and elixer b, I usually sit around 8 or 9 stacks of might. I do around 2k per autoattack not counting the bleed procs and fire. It’s awesome for tagging mobs in Orr as well.
