I don’t expect anyone to care, just expressing my views. This is the first and last GW game I will ever buy. My idea of a fun time is not getting nerfed, and crap always changing around on my toons every time a dumb patch comes. This is becoming comical and pretty tedious. It shows me Anet are just idiots who really don’t know what they are doing since they are still tweaking players this much after the game has been out for over a year. People in these forums have much better views on character skills/traits than Anet does. I really hope GW does not make it that much longer as a game. I really like it but can not put up with these lousy patches anymore. I will patiently wait for Elder Scrolls Online and gladly pay a fee for a good no bull shi 1t game. In the meantime, I will very happily play BF4. Anet just will never get it, I just got two ascended weapons that took me forever to farm guess what they were, a Dagger and Pistol. And now my thief is nerfed yet again. I understand many of the nerfs before this but now thieves aren’t even that good anymore and yet another huge blow to majority of thieves. Mesmers are already so OP yet they get buffed more and definitely for the better. Necros are super deadly now, and they get buffed … Warriors get buffed numerous times and now they are getting nerfed… like really Anet wtf you doing over there ? Are you just picking crap out of a hat ?

Well I am sick of thief constantly getting nerfed so badly. I agree with the many nerfs that have come over the months, but now this is ridiculous. Thieves are not even OP any more, which no class should be but… What I am trying to say is that in the scheme of things overall thieves are not dominant anymore. I would say Mesmers, Necros, Warriors are the strongest classes and Mesmers are still getting good buffs. I just don’t understand the logic behind nerfing thieves more. I am very disgusted in Anet constantly taking viable builds away from Thieves. If they change Acrobatics V to do what they said here I am done with this game. I already had several friends tell me the same too because they are getting fed up. I caught wind of 20 thieves all talking about this today in my guild and they are all feeling the same way. Betrayed by Anet. And they too are at the point where they said enough is enough. The only things Thieves have to stay alive is going invisible. I truly hope that you lose a huge player base Anet if you go through with this nerf on Thieves, you can not just keep screwing over everyone like this at your will. It is not fair. Thieves already get rolled over by Warriors, Necros, Mesmers, and even Engineers that are good. And now you are taking away really only one of the viable thief builds.

I can not wait for ESO to come out, hopefully it is sooner than later.

So I was playing WvW again and as soon as I got my keep it was skill lagging so badly already. There was not one person around me at all or anyone actually around the entire area. This lag has gotten out of control where WvW is not even playable.

I contacted support about the issue and look at the “I am going to play it off” excuse I got.

Me: Firstly I like the game you guys did a great job. But WvW performance sucks as the subject suggests. I know for a fact its not my computer. I have a really good pc. It consists of an Intel SSD, 16GB Memory, 2 7970’s in Crossfire, and an Intel 2600K that is overclocked to 4.8 Ghz. I ran Prime 95 for a week straight without an stability issues on my computer. My computer is plenty fast enough to run this game.

Issue I have and absolutely everyone in WvW has is when there is a zerg anywhere around the area, you can not use any skills because they won’t activate. Or it takes about five seconds for one skill to activate. Even if I turn all settings in the game on low, this problem still persists. This game has been now out for over a year and this problem has always been there since release day. I would have thought by now Arena.net would have fixed this issue by adding extra infrastructure to their networks or something within the game code itself. This is very frustrating and gets you killed all the time. Why doesn’t Arena.net address this issue already. Or come out and say WvW performance sucks to give everyone peace of mind that Arena.net acknowledges this problem.

The lag caused by WvW is because we have too many players in WvW in one area. This sadly affect game play somewhat. The solution we implemented for this is Culling, where you only see a part of the battle to not overload the Internet connection.

I love how they try to blame it on culling. When I skill lag there is not even anyone around half the time and if there is, it is only a few people. Plus I tried turning culling down to minimum setting for kittens and it didn’t do anything, but I already knew that. At first this skill lagging would happen frequently when anytime there was a zerg somewhere around but they were completely out of sight. But now it has gotten worse. There doesn’t have to be anyone around now for it to happen.

Rajel, I could not agree with you more. I am in Stormbluff Isle and the lag in WvW is absolutely terrible. It is definitely at the point to where it is unplayable and you just die because you can’t use any of your skills. If you can use a skill it takes such a long time to activate. I know this is not my pc, I have 2 7970’s and an Intel 2600K that’s overclocked to 4.8 Ghz and Prime 95 tested for a week straight with zero errors (So my overclock is stable and that is not the issue here, plus all other games I play are fine). I have even tried putting all graphic settings to low in the game and same thing happens, can’t use my skills anytime I get around a zerg.

I thought since the game has been out now for a year that Arena.net would have fixed this issue since it is definitely their problem and not ours. But it seems they don’t care about their customers enough.

Hi thanks for bringing these issues up to share with the rest. Will you try and put in a versatile infusion in the utility slot in your amulet. I was wondering if a versatile infusion will go in it for the ar. Thanksin advance.

My game keeps disconnecting me also with the same error code that the OP posted. After I get disconnected it also resets my progress made.
