Warrior Buff

Can you please buff warriors for TPVP! They have never been top tier, but since the quickness nerf, they have become a liability. Warriors need a huge defense buff. I mean they are warriors right. They are supposed to fight on the front line. Although I don’t play a warrior myself, I do team with them often, and it has become a sad affair.

SPVP Armor

I am puzzled to why GW2 doesn’t allow the armor visuals achieved in SPVP and TPVP to be worn in the environments outside of the Mist. Due to the unfortunate inability to duel in GW2, the Mist is not a player gathering hub and is just a brief stopping point to get to the fun. If dueling was a possibility, the Mist could be become a point of interest where any given player could proudly display the newest in PVP armor and weapons. As it is now, what is the point? However, if the PVP Armor Skins could be worn outside of the Mist altogether, it could be a huge boost to the PVP player base. Basically, your advertising your product and giving an incentive to participate. It also allows those already participating an opportunity to show off their hard earned spoils. I don’t understand why it was decided that SPVP and TPVP would be separated from the other two environments of GW2, but I believe it to be a poor decision and one that could and should be rectified.

[March] Issues with character art, weapons, or armor?

Since the March 26th patch, the PVP Commando’s Helm no longer looks like a helm. It now appears as a mask.

PvP Commando armor is a PvP reward available from wolf reward chests, or crafted at the Mystic Forge.

The female human picture is from GW2Wiki . http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/PvP_Commando_armor and shows the original art.

The second is also the original art work as shown at Argos Soft.

The final two screens show how the PVP Commando’s Helm looks now on a Male Asura.

Please return the helm to it’s former glory!

The "Post your top 3 issues" thread

1. Cast Times
PVE: Our DPS is subpar anyway, is it really necessary to lower it further with these excessive cast times.
PVP: Some professions like a thief can literally burst down the majority of our health bar in the time it takes us to cast a single spell.
A: Easy fix here, lower our cast times.

2. Trait Lines:
See Sethren’s post above on this issue as it is both comprehensive and eloquently written.

3. Minion AI
I don’t use minions and have no desire to as I find them amateurish in both artistic design and function. However, many Necromancers do and they should be viable.
A: I would assume, based on their current dismal state, that programming the AI of Minons/Pets is extremely difficult. However, this issue is shared with Rangers and deserves the extra bit of attention to get it fixed.

4. Condition Damage
Due to the cap limit placed on conditions and the inate ability of most professions to apply them, the Necro is at a disadvantage due to our weak direct damage capabilities.
A: Increase the direct damage portion of our abilities and/or give Necro’s an inherant condiotion. I read a post were someone already suggested this and called the condition “Necrosis.”

Should i roll a Necro?

After the shortbow nerf debacle with the Ranger, I rolled a Necro and have never looked back. You could make the point that I went from the worst to the second worst profession, and you may be right. However, the Necro is a lot of fun to play, and at the end of the day thats all that really matters. The biggest caveat is if you expected to play a minion master. In my experence Necro minions are absolutely worthless. The minion AI is so terrible that I am actually embarrassed for ANET. I know this is subjective, but they are also ugly. Aesthetically speaking, they just dont belong in this otherwise beautiful game. I play a power build and enjoy it a great deal. Despite what you may hear its viable in SPVP and PVE. You will kill slower but you have great survivability and a ton of support options. Bottom line is, its a fun profession despite the bugs and with just the minimum of support from ANET it could be one of the strongest professions in game. Try it out you might find you really enjoyed it as I did, and like all MMOs sometimes it better to be on the cusp of greatness waiting for improvement than overpowered waiting on a nerf.
