I’m on the same provider on the Gandara (EU?) Server.
Same problem (lag about every 5secs to 30secs, lasting between 0.5s and 15sec with occasional disconnects; had about 4 tonight and stopped playing).

I am having the exact same issue, I live in Germany and my provider is T-Com I have a 50 Mbit/s VDSL connection and I have never had any lag or connectivity issues until now.

It happens usually in the evenings yes but I never get disconnected, just really huge up to 20 sec. lag spikes with my character rubber banding all over the place. It can happen in sPVP, PVE, Instances and even story quests (Server: Desolation EU).

It is starting to get frustrating since its almost the only hours that I can actually play the game after work.

As of this week the lag in the open world seems to have become better, but still getting 5-10 seconds lag spikes in instances and story quest instances. Almost unplayable.
