Hello,

I’ve been doing a few challenges to get mastery points and I noticed that some are just not right timer wise, For example the “Flying circus” one in Verdant Brink.

The timer for gold = 2:00

Now I finished it on 2:00 EXACTLY. And i still got silver, in fact i did it twice and i still didn’t get gold. Shouldn’t it be just in time as i got in exactly as the timer suggests?

I would like that extra mastery point as it’s already hard enough to get those points without having to be extremely good at these challenges (which are seriously too hard for a player that doesn’t want to spend hours perfecting routes & mechanics for one simple mastery point..

Hello, this is mostly meant to Guilds that want to work together with other guilds as a small community.

My plan

My plan with this is to let small & medium guilds work together. As we all know smaller guilds have it harder to organise events due to lack of participants. What I want to accomplish is to team up with some PvX guilds that are willing to work together with out guild. We would prefer guilds that are not too hardcore (as we’re a social guild) but willing to do events like reset tequatl, bosses, guild missions and so on (we’re open for suggestions for more events like HoT maps or so).

What do we offer?

We have a Teamspeak ready to share with other guilds (so we can have shared channels and every guild has their own channels aswell to do things on their own but because the teamspeak will have shared channels they can also play together if they’re feeling alone because they’re online late)

What does this mean for the guild leaders?

Well it’s nice to see your guild work together with other guilds as a community, this is beneficial for all participating guilds and this might be nice for the guildies so we can arrange events on our own (not like opencommunity or anything) just casual events once or twice a week just to have something to look out for).

We’re hoping for guilds to offer their teamwork and willing to share (don’t worry you can (and have to) manage your own channels (if needed you can ask for help if you have questions in terms of settings) So you will have full power over your own part of the server and the rules will be that my guildies for example are not allowed in the other guilds part (this is where the shared channels will be useful).

Hello I have a question about the “Bottle of Oola Energy” one. How do i get this one? I have energy crystal & i do know where it is but what laser i need to use it on & when… do i need to stay after the event to get it or? help would be appreciated

Considering the price of mumble/vent and ts servers…. including free ones out there I am not sure this is a good proposition. I recommend just looking in lf guild post to find a small guild or 2 and try to work something out with them.

It only takes 5 – 10 people to do most all of the pve missions. Honestly you can use lfg and find solo people who will join to help out as well so they can get guild commendations.

It is a good offer for the ones needing a TeamSpeak.. You don’t need to worry about my wallet We want our TeamSpeak to be used more often so our guildies have someone to talk to once in a while so for us it is kinda beneficial

I will divide this post in 2 sections, one for the people looking for a fun guild and second section for the guilds that want to share a TS server).

Devils Little Cuties is a young Social guild That is looking for some active and fun people to laugh with in guild chat. We mainly aim for an active guild chat but we will allow our guildies to have as much fun as they possibly can Ofcourse your question is “what do you mean with allowing guildies to have as much fun as they possibly can?”, well simple we offer the following:

- Weekly Guild Missions
- Teamspeak
- Posibility to own PvP ranked team (you can choose who can join & you can choose the name)
- If you want to play other games (LoL, CSGO, etc..) and you want to use a voice com you can always ask for such channels and we’ll make one that you can use on teamspeak

We basically try to please everyone in the guild as best as we can. We’re friendly towards everyone and count on our guildies to do the same.

Now what do we ask from our guildies you ask? Not much really i’ll give a quick review of what we do ask and what we don’t ask

We do ask:
- To be active in guild chat (Teamspeak is optional but if you’re active there it’s always nice)
- To be friendly & accepting of others in the guild

short list huh? now what are the things we don’t do and probably never will do:

- We will NEVER ask you to represent. This is totally up to you and we don’t care as long as you’re active (fyi for guild missions you might wanna represent if you want loot)
- We will NEVER force you to join Guild Missions or kick you for not joining them. We do like it if you could join as it helps the guild out a LOT but we’re not here to force you.

Alright the fact that the donation window stays open is a good hint altho it still requires 2 npc’s while it could’ve been more convenient :/ But I guess i’ll have to do with that (it’s better than how i used to) but i wouldn’t mind if Anet would implement one of those 2 options so you can donate even if you’re in a rush to get offline (as sometimes i don’t have too much time because i need to get ready for a world boss like Teq or TT and that little bit of time can help a lot :p

I know the title is a bit odd but i just don’t know how to phrase it easier :p I just had a little.. idea kind of in terms of guild donations. As the donation tab only shows what you have in your inventory & what the guild needs. Now my question is: Is it possible to add a way to look at your storage table (in bank) so you can retrieve the materials without having to remember which ones you need and get them from the scribe table. As my memory is quite horrible, i’ll freely admit that and i’m sure i’m not the only one. And Adding an option to look at your material tab would help a lot..

I can suggest 2 “solutions”:

1. Add a storage tab so you can compare what you have & what the guild needs (screenshot of +- what i mean)

2. In the “items to donate” list maybe you can list the items the guild needs & that you can offer like for example if your guild needs mithril ingots & you have mithril ingots in your storage that you don’t need to get it out of your storage but that the amount of mithril ingots that you have appears in the list of “items to donate”

Just so donating to Guild Hall is more userfriendly for us forgetful people (and yes it’s hard for me to remember like 5-7 items. So now i either need to take a screenshot & compare like that but when your guild is bigger than you won’t be able to fit all the items you need in one screenshot. I hope Anet would be willing to look at this and maybe see if this is a possible feature or not.

Probably your best option is to join a guild that will help you learn, since it’s much easier to learn as you’re going along. But here’s a few things which might be useful to know however, based on your post:

Gear Levels

I have no idea what those are, but there are two factors which determine how good equipment is in this game: the level requirement (which is the level your character has to be to use it) and the rarity/tier (text colour).

There are 6 tiers which, in order, are:

• Common (White)
• Fine (Blue)
• Masterwork (Green)
• Rare (Yellow)
• Exotic (Orange)
• Ascended (Pink)

All equipment with the same rarity and level requirement is equally good, if you craft a level 80 exotic staff (for example) it will be just as good as any level 80 exotic staff you could get from enemies or as a story reward or from dungeons etc.

Useful equipment

A good choice when you first get to level 80 is to get a full set of exotic equipment, because those are widely available and ascended (the next and final tier) is intended to be a difficult, long-term goal.

Exotic equipment can come from a variety of places: you can trade dungeon tokens for it at a vendor in LA, buy it with karma from the temples in Orr, get it as drops and story rewards, craft it or buy it from the Trading Post for gold.

The tricky part is working out what stats you want on it, as although they’re all equally strong they’re not all equally useful for you. Although elementalists are more easily able to use all the stats than many professions, and several people choose to use Celestial gear (which spreads the points equally between all stats, whereas most level 80 gear has just 3 stats). It might be worth having a look at the elementalist section of the forum to get some ideas.

Dungeon & level scaling

One thing which is very different between this game and most of them is that your level scales to the area you’re in. Which means its quite common to see level 80 characters everywhere, even in starting areas. The same applies to dungeons. (In fact some people have complained that it’s hard to find a party before level 80.)

This is an important thing to bear in mind because whilst it has a lot of upsides in that it means you can do content in almost any order and get useful rewards and fun gameplay anywhere in the game it also has a downside because it means you can’t ever assume reaching the max level means you’re safe. You won’t be able to 1-shot everything in low level zones, or ignore them because they’ll never do enough damage to kill you.

You forgot tier7: Legendary

you are, i used gw2wiki to calculate all of it. On the left you see the precursor stuff (508.9g total) to current prices & to the right you’ll see how much it’ll cost to upgrade to Bifrost from there on. and grand total means how much precursor + gifts will cost if you buy all mats. Also if you so desire here’s a calculation of zap aswell, all calculated using gw2wiki

Hello guys and girls

I have a problem while trying to start crafting precursors. I have all the materials but the problem is the components are not showing up in my crafting tabs. First off:

- Yes i did complete the tier 1 for the craft
- I did use the recipe that came in the reward box (also have the essence)

According to gw2Wiki it should pop up under “Legendary Component” but I have also searched under normal components, tried the search bar but there is simply no experimental items i can craft (which are the tier 1).

Is there anyone that can help me? Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? I would really appreciate your help

Also, can you sell your precursor after crafting?

Ok i kinda figured out what the problem is. if you drag the rune into the armor piece it won’t work (doesn’t work with any armor piece) if i right click and press “use” and then click on the armor piece in hero panel i can add the rune to the armor piece… shouldn’t dragging also work?:/

I have trouble with runes & adding it to armor. First the technical info

Rune: Superior rune of the flame legion (https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Superior_Rune_of_the_Flame_Legion)
lvl: 60

armor piece: illustrious doublet (https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Zojja%27s_Doublet)
lvl: 80 (ascended)

problem, when I try to add the rune to the armor piece mentioned above it shows as it’s not possible. If i hover the rune over the chest piece (in hero page) the box turns red (which means it’s not possible to perform that action). Also, saying the runes doesn’t fit with the armor is not correct as I have the same runes on my boots. Is this a bug that’s holding me back?

Also extra info (maybe this can help finding the bug), this armor piece was a drop from a Triple Trouble chest, I used the mystic forge to change it to Zojja armor, Then i transmuted it, then i saw it didn’t apply, so i thought maybe the transmutation must’ve jinxed it, so i transmuted it back. Still it’s impossible to add the rune to the armor piece.

Can someone with experience on this subject please give me an explanation and a fix for this problem. As this kinda holds back a lot of my armor’s potential as this armor piece doesn’t have the correct rune page.

What is that, Chrome? Have you tried using a different browser? I’ve seen a few posts about issues with Chrome. Some kind of settings dealing with ad-blocking, or something….I can’t remember.

Hello i have a problem with reading the announcements of GW2 like this one https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/hot-new-legendary-weapons/
you know the news thingy when you log in.. every link I click on displays an empty page and i can’t read anything. Which is pretty annoying because i actually want to read the announcements like the new legendaries like in the attachment. I am logged in on the forum and all and i just can’t figure out how to make the text visible :/ is there anyone here that can help me with making these announcement readable?
