Is there ANYTHING we can do about lost CD Key/Registration Key?

Really guys? You can’t answer this simple question? I’ve been really patient and sympathetic towards the admins and customer support people through this whole mess, but my patience is starting to wear pretty thin.
Good luck, I’ve been trying to get a simple “yes or no” answer to whether or not we are screwed if we accidentally lost the key. I don’t know why a support person can’t just say “yea, you are screwed” or “no, we will be working on a way to help people who lost it very soon”. Its not a hard question to answer.

Originally my friend purchased digital versions of mine and his game right before beta. I’ve lost the print out I had with the registration key on it. My friend has tried to see if there is a way to get this information re-sent and has gotten no response. I’ve searched through the Windows registry and can’t find it stored anywhere there. I apparently need this key in order to reset my hacked account and get it operational again. Isn’t there anything we can do? Or is one email sent way back in April the only option we ever had? I just want someone to be honest with me and tell me if I’m totally screwed here or not.

I got an email to reset my password/email account etc…. but as I stated in the support request, I CAN NOT LOCATE MY SERIAL NUMBER. My friend that purchased the digital copies from his card has requested reobtaining this information and has gotten no response. Is one email sent way back in April seriously the only option there is for obtaining my serial number? Thats just not very reliable. I’d just like to know if I’m totally screwed here or what.

This is a very good point Xieon and something that definately needs to be suggested. This may be the first account I’ve had where someone can just change the email address/username without having to respond to a confirmation email. My email account’s password is different from my game password, so had this kind of thing been in place, they never would’ve been able to totally shut me out.

Phlesh.1674, posting from my wife’s account here on the forum. I saw no place that would allow me to change the subject name in my ticket, but I did update it as instructed in this thread. Ticket number is 120903-012740. I am now 4 days in to this mess. I just need my email address/username changed back from whatever it was changed to by the hacker that apparently got ahold of it.
I have nothing but sympathy for what your team must be dealing with, as I’m a developer who has to support customers myself, but I’d really like to hear SOMETHING soon.

I’m posting this from my wife’s account because I can’t login to the game or the website using my own. I’m getting the “the email address you entered was not found” message. I also get a similar message when attempting to login to the website. I received an email on the same day this all went down telling me my email address had been changed. I’m pretty sure that means I was hacked. Anyhow, the account email address is phleshdef@hotmail.com and the user ID is Phlesh.1674. I’ve been waiting a few days now without any real response. I understand that the team is likely getting swamped because of the massive outbreak of account breeches, but it would be nice to hear SOMETHING. Mostly, I’m worried about whoever got ahold of my account misusing it in someway that gets it banned. I’d like to know that, if this hasn’t already happened, proper steps are being taken to ensure it doesn’t.
