MOST games have test clients that are not apart of the main game. So they don’t interfere with anything.

Yep so does this one. It’s just not a PUBLIC test server

They are not test servers, they are test instances. Full game play is not possible so most bugs are missed since characters do not have full progression such as story, etc.

Check out the bug section (where this post should have been) and you’ll see posts about the crashing and the reset dailies. Anet is working on a fix for the mail and pvp lobby crashes according to Gaile.

I noticed that since the update today the daililes have reset to a new set. The ones for WvW after reset last night were: Daily Big Spender, Daily Keep Capturer, Daily Land Claimer and Daily World Ranker.

Just in WvW and the new ones are: Daily Objective Defender, Daily Tower Capturer, Daily Guard Killer and Daily Land Claimer.

The two PvE that I remember for sure last night were: Daily Shiverpeak Miner and Daily Ascalon Vista Viewer. Those are now Daily Kryta Vista Viewer and Daily Maguuma Jungel Miner.

I had completed the 3 for the day and with the change mentioned here I can complete the new ones but I still have completed status for the 10AP and 2g.

Update: I have crashed again. From what I can figure out it’s when you use a waypoint that forces you to load it causes the mail to crash.

From my previous post, I logged in the DR character and moved it to LA, in the portal hub I could open mail. I used the traders forum waypoint and moved to the crafting area and when I attempted to open mail it crashed.

When I returned to the game, I loaded the Black Citadel character and was able to open my mail. The character was at the tailoring station. I way-pointed to the Memorial Waypoint and was able to open mail. I then way-pointed to the Mustering Grounds Waypoint causing a load time and when I went to access mail there it crashed.

It may be related to waypoint use.

Edit: Some have reported it crashing when trying to get their new black lion items. I haven’t purchases any Black lion items since the update and have no Black Lion items in my mail storage.

I had problems in DR, crashed twice. On the third attempt, I logged a character in Black Citadel and was able to open my mail there. I moved the original character from DR to LA and was able to open the mail with no problems
