We were on Kaineng a few days in T3 while we were scouting how DB would do in T2, and I think we moved over the following Wednesday. Although we are right back in T2, we are super pleased with the move.

To give credit where credit is due, you guys are great. I ran with you this past reset and was very much impressed by your organization and maneuvers in all those tough fights. Mayoken showed great leadership not only in handling the fights, but also in dealing with sticky situations. It was a job very well done.

Whats your problem?

Can’t pvd all our stuff? I still see a tower up. You are slippin

Our problem is we don’t use 3 monitors like TC. It will take time to take all your stuff. I apologize for our slowness.

I think the point of the posts is a retaliation at last weeks kitten nonsense some of your server mates were posting about the strength of your server.

I think some TC players are too concerned with 3 or 4 negative posts when their sever’s strategy is centered around using “3 monitors”.

Ok, here’s my take on everything.

- TC/FA taking a break – so are people on DB. New PvE content, finals week, burn out, OP Arrowcarts, etc etc – those are not unique to your respective server. We’re ALL going through this.

- I, for one, do not care for T1 nor have understood the lure of it. Would it be an accomplishment for Dragonbrand to hit T1? Absolutely, I would be extremely proud of Dragonbrand if we ever accomplish that. But, like many servers before, people will get bored/burned out and eventually transfer off or stop playing all-together. T1 is where servers go to die – fact. It is an inevitablity that only a server’s community can remedy until a better system is put in place.

- Should Dragonbrand implode (for a second time) as many of you are wishing and hoping (don’t even try and hide it) – I welcome it. The most fun i’ve had is fighting our way back up with those that chose to rough it out after the exodus – it was tough, but gave us a sense of accomplishment and sculpted the core WvW community. Win or lose, every week was something new, every red name was different. Why do you think it’s hard recruiting guilds from Dragonbrand? I’ve only known of one major guild that left Dragonbrand since our rise back up – and some of them have already returned.

I am sure I can speak for most of my guild and hopefully most of Dragonbrand when I say, we’ve been there, done that and we’ll gladly do it again. Elephant Ambush, no matter how big or small, T1 or T8 and everything in-between, we will remain on Dragonbrand.

Agree 100%. DB WvWers are mostly made up of server loyalist. Whatever tier we are in we will just come out to the fights and enjoy the journey.

Personally, I sincerely appreciate all the NA/Oceanic players and guilds who has been fighting along with us, no matter which server they are on today. Without their contribution we probably wouldn’t have made it back up. Even if they are no longer on DB, they can take pride in helping make the server we are today.

Also a big hug for RE, rB, Agg, CO, and others who recently joined us. Not only did they bring the much needed help to our NA and EU time slot which allows us to become competitive in T2, each of them also brings their enthusiasm and techniques that helped us fight better. i.e., Noodles’ prep party before our first T2 match probably was one of key reasons to give us four-map ques for hours.

And yes it might be too early to do chest bumping. The point spreads are small. If FA gets a good SEA guild they could very well be in the lead. So is TC if they have their full force out. Both of these servers have impressive guilds. Lets see what happens in the next few weeks.

Looking For WvW players (Dragonbrand)

in Guilds

This is not a looking for guild, nor a recruitment thread.

Hello Dragonbrand players. In WvW I run with pugs all the time. Although our pugs are incredibly sturdy, we do lack communication.

I am looking for WvW players who prefer to keep communicating with each other while playing. I believe this will make the experience more fun and our war efforts more rewarding.

Dragonbrand has a TS3 community server that almost no one uses. Plus it seems only commanders can talk in there. I’ve made a Raidcall channel for WvW, where everyone can chat and discuss strategy. It is hosted on cloud, takes less resources, and is always on. Raidcall is free and you can download at: http://www.raidcall.com/v7/download-raidcall.html

You don’t have to switch guild to join this channel. It is open to any Dragonbrand players. Even if you already has some VOIP with your guild this will benefit you in that you can communicate/coordinate with the players on the specific map at the time you are playing.

If you are interested, please drop a line here or contact me in game. I will add you to the channel. Thanks.

Is this a bug?

Recently (in the last 3 days) I’ve encountered two issues within the game.

1. Forced authorization on every login.

I used to ignore the “please verify your email” option, but 3 days ago the “Play” button wouldn’t light up unless I verify my email. Since then, every time I tried to log in I got a message “you are on a new IP, please authorize this login”. I am with AT&T broadband, and I have not had my IP changed in the last 3 days. Is there a way to turn off these annoying authorization emails?

2. Diminished Return kick in fast

I started to play in Cursed Shore several days ago. Tried to farm ori ore, but being a new 80 in greens and playing solo, it has been difficult. So I am focusing on events. There are some event chains that I do (Plinx), and along the way I normally can pick up events in arena too. However the dimished return has been kicking in really fast on me. In about 1 hour doing these events (roughly 2 rounds), DR kicks in. Today DR dropped on me after only about 40 min of play.

Normally I’d play my alt for 30 min, then back doing these events again. Today I just went out to look for ores and stood idle after that — for about an hour. When I resumed doing these events, I noticed DR has increased on me as if I was doing these events all the time.

I need some help on this issue. I’ve heard DR has been bugged for some players, am I so lucky to be one of those few? I don’t think DR should ever kick in in 1 hour of play, no matter how many events I do in that hour. Plus, if I stand there doing nothing for 1 hour, DR should’ve gone away. As it stands now, I don’t know what I am supposed to do.

Thanks.
