I actually just wrote a topic on it, but for me, it’s just the adventures you can have! You can find things that aren’t marked on the map, and there’s a lot of it. If you don’t mind a semi long to long read (Including the article I linked) go and check it out, it may just give you a few ideas
This is a bit of a long “speech” so if you don’t like reading stop at the period. Endgame? That question came to my mind awhile ago, I honestly didn’t want to grind for legendary stuff or ascended. But a couple weeks ago I started playing again, and I realized something, if any of you remember, ArenaNet posted an article about a woman named Kelly and her dog Anna. Link here: http://www.arena.net/blog/meet_ameranth
I was thinking about this for awhile, and it hit me that ArenaNet never made the game with an endgame in the first place, so what is it they wanted us to do at level 80? Adventure! Yes, there’s map completion, but that’s just completing the map and events, there are countless unmarked areas in a lot of the maps, we have side-kick leveling so that it’s still a challenge adventuring in lower level zones. Whats the point I’m getting at? Explore, if you think you have nothing to do, look for something you’ve never seen before, I doubt anyone that plays GW2 including myself remembers everything they’ve seen ingame, or even gone to something that looks interesting and just took a closer look at it. There’s a countless amount of things to do in the game at all levels, you just have to go and find them, and I think the typical MMORPG’s nowadays have taken that away from us to the point that no MMORPG (except GW2) is really about the adventure and the wonder now. Just the other day I was in the water under a waterfall and it wasn’t marked on the map, but there was a cave in there, it was small, but it was awesome. Yes, there’s a lot we do need in the game, but everything will come with time, in that time go on an adventure!
Cheers,
Edit: I realize some people may not agree with me, and if you don’t, feel free to say why, and give some reasons, but please be respectable.

So, I play mainly PvE so that’s where this opinion is coming from.
I find that the LongBow is great for AoE damage and not much else (not great with bosses imo), where the Rifle is awesome for picking off single mobs or bosses.
You agree? Disagree?

Then I’m REALLY unlucky.
I’m level 30 and I’ve only ever gotten a dye drop 3 times so I’m wondering if there’s a good place to farm for them?
So I hear a lot of people complaining about it. But I’m just wondering one thing. Did ANet break the promise of ‘people playing the game only a little bit because that’s all they can play but being able to have the same gear stats as someone who plays 24/7’ (the only difference being what the armor looks like)? And are the stats game breaking compared to Exotics?
They also cut the reward from doing the lowbie DEs by like half in the Nov 15th patch, taking them from suboptimal to “don’t do these ever” territory.
So theres no point in playing with lower players if you’re a level 80 anymore…? What happened to “Play with your lower level friends too without drawbacks!”……..
Well, I don’t know if it’s just me but the Charr starter area seems empty, in Lion’s Arch I get into overflow, but I’m just wondering what the population of the server is, because now I don’t see half as many players as I used to (maybe that’s just because I’m level 30 atm?). Are most people in the higher areas like 45+?
