Guild Wars 2

Not sure what this means: “if you were playing in a group to get past some of the stories blocked by bad character data”

All I know is I encountered the bug while grouped with another person who was on the exact same quest at the time. Are they pretty much saying that players whom this happened to are SOL?

I’m in the same situation, except on my norn. Was questing with my girlfriend, both of us were on the same quests (around lvl 30) and after completing an instance of her quest, the next quest in my log turned into a lvl 48. Here’s a screen shot of my “My Story” log
