SALT is now a level 11 guild! With Guild Portal and Mining Rate 1 ready to be sent through (silly aetherium!). We are now focused on our Arena Restoration 1, with a majority of those materials as well in. This is truly a wonderful group of folks, everyone pitching in and helping SALT make a wonderful hall!
Coming up Friday is our weekly Fabulous Fractal Friday event! We will run all sorts of levels, just show up and find a group for your level! Then on Sunday will be our guild mission with our fancy, new guild portal!

Tonight is our guild hall claiming night! We voted on Gilded Hollow! We are planning for a huge turnout and would love for you to join us! Must have the HoT expansion, be level 80, have basic gliding and exalted markings would be helpful.

This past week we also got all our material together for Tavern restoration 1 and are waiting to get our guild hall to move forward on that! A huge thank you to all our guildies who pitched in to make this happen!

What an amazing weekend it has been! So many activities going on together and doing our guild missions to together to end the weekend off!

Tonight is dungeon night! After our guild officer meet, it has been decided to keep this night on our roster for now. We will hold it the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month! Always taking requests, so join us and let us go dungeon crawling with you!

Due to information coming from Anet, we have decided to postpone our guild hall claiming night to November 1st. There is still time to join us, help vote for our hall and be apart of the claiming!

2 weeks away! So much going on and in the plans at Salt! We are trying to nail down our days, times and groups for raids! We have several folks who have stepped up wanting to lead.

Not to mention guild halls, custom guild arenas and so much more! We are currently voting now for the guild hall of our choice and planning out when we will try to take our guild hall! As information comes from the developers, we are trying to prepare accordingly.

[Salt] has been busy the past few weeks! Tonight at 9pm EST we will be doing jumping puzzles together! As always this Friday is our fractal friday, WvW on Saturday, Salt takes over SW on Sunday and doing a map completion on next Tuesday night. All our events usually begin around 9pm EST.

Tonight is Fractal Friday! Last week we were able to have 3 tiers of fractals going! One for beginners, lvl 21-30 and lvl 40 one! There were 4 full fractal runs in one night! We had some folks unable to get on at 9pm EST (our normal start time), so that fourth complete fractal set was for the later crowd! Hey Hsiung! Thanks for the inquiry! We do not have teams, we just kind of get together, take some tower, mow down some dolyaks and have some fun! Yes though you do have to be on Fort Aspenwood to do WvW with us. Although, that is the only thing now (yay megaservers) that you must be on our server for. All other activities, dungeons, fractals, pve or spvp is just group up and go!!! Hey if you ever need any help with anything in the game please give me a whisper! Thank you Diaspao, I did seem to miss this information. Like Vasshti said we are casual! We are easy going, competent players. Maybe the most ideal group makeup isn’t what is brought to a dungeon, but it just takes more skill, thought and patience to succeed. The goal is a friendly community building each other up, so I would think we would be considered a social guild, and that is ok Thanks for the reply!

We have been a bit quiet on the guild front these past few weeks, trying to take time for family. Now we are back to our scheduled events and looking to add more exciting events to our calendar! Things have been looking up for Salt! This coming up Thursday, December 18th we are going to be having our own little Salt Tourney in sPvP! We have several folks leading up their own pvp teams, also we are having 1v1, and 2v2 battles! Everyone is excited about just having fun together and trying to win some prizes! [Salt] of the Earth of Fort Aspenwood is in the works of a revival!

We are a Christian, family friendly community. Although we are a Christian guild, being a Christian is not required. We only require that you respect everyone, their beliefs and we do not allow foul language or attitudes towards other players. The vision of this guild is to be a clean, friendly community. With that being said, the enviroment we have created is one where people get to know each other on a personal basis. Many friendships have been made in Salt that surpass just being dungeon buddies.

We want to be honest and up front about how our current roster looks. We have 186 members on roster with anywhere from 25-35 logging on each day. We are partnered with another guild Legacy of Elijah, so you will see people not representing Salt. We help each other fill dungeons and do guild missions together. It has been a challenging year for Salt but we are excited about settling in and rebuilding!

We run all types of events! Guild missions, story and explorable dungeons, beginners and advanced fractals, and WvW and sPvP nights! So it doesn’t matter if you are new to the game or have done it all!

A family friendly Christian PvE and WvW guild

We welcome Christians and Non-Christians alike

I know your time is precious, so I’ll try to be to the point! What makes a guild special? Is it the accomplishments over time of the guild? Is it the number of members? Is it doing all the content in a guild as fast as possible?

I’m not sure about you, but I would answer all those with a ‘No’. What makes a guild special is the people in it. It doesn’t matter if the guild is 50, 100, or 200+ strong. If no one knows each other on a personal level then over time that guild will be lost in memory.

This guild has three goals

Strengthen Christians in their walk with Christ

Bring seekers to Christ should they so choose. We will not force anything on you, you are welcome to game with us if all you want is a clean family friendly environment

Recruit people that want to game with each other for fun, and to get to know each other like an online family. Over my nearly 10 years of playing MMO’s I only really remember 3 guilds and all 3 were because you were treated like an online family not a number or a slot filler.
Our guild is small right now, but we have big dreams and we are in Guild Wars 2 for the long haul.
