I had the same problem. While searching for a solution I ran into a similar issue mentioned with ‘Heart Stone’ on another forum. There was a suggestion of it being the Graphics card and I got an idea. After a fresh restart.

The fix was: Go to Library -> Application Support -> GW2 -> ‘p_drive’ -> User -> Application Data -> GW2 -> then DELETE ‘GFXSettings.gw2.exe.xml’.

It should repopulate and reset to the last successful setting. Thought it would reset to default but it went to the last successful windowed setting I had. Hope this helps the tons of GW2 Mac players out there!

Can someone tell me what happened to that dagger?? It was on the TP some time ago but it’s not there any more.. Did Anet remove it?

I’m currently crafting the Kotaki Legendary Spear which originally was intended for my Necro but i’ve been having doubts and deciding to put it on my Warrior or Ranger [who will be in WvW more often].
What bugs would I need to be concerned about if on Necro, Ranger or Warrior??

Also, I read on the forum you can glitch it to trigger have the aura on land? How would I be able to accomplish that?

Thank you Leuca for stating that. As I was reading this post I was amused at some of the unfortunate uninformed and narrow-minded views. First off, I’m a massive fan of the ‘Ice Bow’ mainly because I was highly intrigued with the concept from beta-launch. There’s so much more Anet can do with conjured weapons. But to stay on post topic I’ll state this, physical bows is a great idea, but I rather Anet just develop conjured weapons further. Make them more effective and efficient so their purpose becomes stronger. As an Elementalist, I should be able to make conjured forms of whatever weapon I want. And I’m hoping when this occurs I wouldn’t be too disappointed [because Anet has a habit of doing that to Eles.]
However, upon the early pre-launch of the game, Anet announced/showcased the original intent of the elements. Setting distinctive standards for the class as well.

When I want to shoot physical arrows with physical bows and have fancy effects, I’ll go on my Ranger and shoot through combo fields.

FrownyClown, that wouldn’t make for much of an adaptable Ele.

I am wondering if I am the only one who is interested in having underwater elementals? I feel as though this should have been ready and released already. It’s quite strange to go for a swim with your elemental summoned and they drown in the graphical sea. As an Ele, in theory, I should be master of elements, this is also in relation to the things I create/summon. My creations/summons should be as adaptable as I am.

Simple/Basic Ideas on underwater elementals:
-Fire Ele [Less fire, more steam]
-Ice Elemental [Less ice, more water like appearances]
-Air Elemental [Less wind animation, more shock]
-Earth Elemental [Less Earth, more Mud/Murkiness]

With their new appearances, functions can remain the same or change to make things interesting. Although I can compound on this further, It is not my intention to do so. I just want my summoned elementals to join me when I go underwater.

I think Anet is waiting to see what the ele community comes up with to deal with the harsh adjustments made to Eles. Seeing as players are the most innovative aspects in the gaming universe.

Recently, I theory crafted a build for my ele Asuran[my main] to combat the cookie-cutter builds in the GW2 universe. Also, to try my best and work around the ele nurfs. Probably will still need some tweaking. Usually I run D/D or Staff [situational].

With the new build, it’s a Scepter/Focus build that’s viable in PvE and more so in WvW. I also have a hunch that Scepter/Focus will make a strong presence in the near future for eles.

To obtain the full potential of this setup it will take time and also involve reading your enemy on point.

As Senjun stated, the majority of players who are still on ele are the very skilled. ;P
