About the Guild
Equinox Team is a gaming organization that exists for the purpose of promoting and enjoying more than one video game on personal computers (PC) in the multiplayer or massive multi-player on-line (MMO) genre. However primarily focussed on Guild Wars 2. As a large network of gamers, we actively support advancement and achievement within established games as well as new game releases through beta testing. We support all gaming styles including raiding, role playing, player-versus-player, player-versus-environment, crafters and merchants.
Equinox Team was formed by Shane Pollock and Nestor Gabriel Hernandez on April 14, 2012 after an announcement from Arenanet of the first beta weekend for the sequel to Guild Wars called Guild wars 2. This guild was named Equinox and began as a pre-release and Beta testing guild for the game. Since GW2 at the time still had an unknown release date, Equinox continued playing other then existing MMOs such as DoTA2 beta, Guild Wars, Diablo 3 and League of Legends. While Equinox focuses primarily on Guild Wars 2, it supports its membership in any game which its members find of
interest.
Current Guild Status
- We are Equinox Team. (Side note: we as a guild came up and voted for this name. All members had input before a final decision was made).
- Right now the members are consisting of RL friends, friends from my old GW1 guild, and friends that I have met through my cousins WoW guild. We are roughly 25 strong.
- We do have a TeamSpeak server, currently 25 man, as we don’t have a lot of members yet. Will increase once recruits start coming in.
- We are currently PvE based but we are working on being hugely involved with PvP and WvW events. We started discussion on actually taking part in 5v5 tournaments!
- As time goes on, there will be contests and of course prizes given out to promote activity outside of the game. Prizes will range from in game items, to real money, and to other unknown prizes.
Recruiting Info
- We are looking for ANYONE AND EVERYONE.
- Male, Female (we do currently have a female and she’s all alone
) - Age doesn’t matter (I do ask though if you are under the age of 18 to be mature as possible)
- Language: English, but we also speak Spanish as well. We are mainly US but if you are from other parts of the world and know these two languages, then by all means give us a shot!
- Activity is HUGE in the guild. If you just play, but don’t hang with everyone else, you’re gonna have a bad time…
- Looking for those who are willing to just have fun and be with a community of awesome players!
