That says it right there. Something else I might add for a desktop is do NOT put the tower in a cabinet or anyplace where the airflow is restricted. All the fans in the world running properly will do zero good if there’s no airflow.

Great. More whining. Game doesn’t give you 200 FPS 150% maxed out like Call of Battlefield Duty does? Waaah waah waaah cry me a river. Step 1: Update your drivers to the latest STABLE release. Always a good idea. Screw that beta stuff. Step 2: Use the recommended setting for your system and adjust from there. Where do you find the recommended setup for your system? Run ‘Auto Detect" in Graphics Options. It was put there for a reason. Use it. You’re looking for the optimum balance between eye candy and FPS. Not every game has to be turned all the way up all the time. Besides, the human eye can’t tell the difference much beyond 50 FPS anyway.
