Okay- finally got light in the darkness and Blobs, Schmobs thanks to some help from people on the forums.
What gambits are you guys using for your 5? And what 3rd tier?
(I’m using all of the gambits but the crowd favorite and giving it a go on deadeye)
Come through for me one more time! What’s everyone’s strategy for this achievement?
I’ve tried elementals, earth shields, and lots of S/D practice.
Thank for all the help so far!
Full defence meaning I speced into “Final shielding” for arcane and the earth armour talent with full water heals.
But thank you SO much for this build! I’m ganna try it out. Seriously, I just wanna finish them all!
Alright, I give up.
I’ve tried the fiery greatsword condition method with spamming 2. I think they patched it, he still spawns mobs.
I’ve tried a full defence S/F build.
I’ve tried a S/F burst build.
I can’t do it. Do NOT think it’s possible on en ele. I just take way too much damage and he randomly heals back up…
Anyone manage it yet?
As an elementalist player in beta, would I enjoy coming back to this?
I played a few months ago for a couple weeks and it was agonizing…
If you didn’t have a decent guild or good friends in game, it was mind numbing champ grinding and dungeon running. And I literally mean… dungeon RUNNING… as in… past everything.
I’m missing a “time sink” in my life. Game worth coming back to yet?
I for one am glad we live in a world where we have game companies that have learned from other failing games and actually LISTEN to the community.
I feel so heard and appreciated!
It’s almost like I’m proud to be an ele, I will definitely be there reppin’ my swag-a-licious earth shield!

Guess I should keep it short and sweet. Played all the beta weekends and then when the game was released I got bored and just… up and quit.
After draining league of legends of most of its fun for now, I’m coming back to Guild Wars.
I recently got a guardian to 80 but with no guild or really any friends who game at all- I’ve been left to Mists Spvp for the past few weeks. Now with all these events coming around, I’m noticing that a coordinated group and some advice/insight would go a long way for someone as lost as me.
I’m not opposed to skype/mumble/vent. Mumble being my most used. Infact, I actually encourage speech communication. All in all- I’m just lookin’ for a new home here in Guild Wars.
P.S. Anyone who was in one of the original [YaRR] Guild Wars 1 guilds- those were the days!
Edit: I’m not too huge on WvW just because I don’t have anyone to roam around with. The fun for me right now lies in Spvp/Tpvp and dungeons if I can get some people to do ’em with!

To people who were saying I played them for broken reasons. Meh- I never saw them as overpowered. I just really enjoyed the concept of them. They weren’t just “fireball fireball”. It was something really unique to guildwars 1 (in my opinion).
They had a lot of great things going in that game and I’m sad they changed it so much when making GW2. Guess that’s why picking a class is hard. Lol.
I read that somewhere.
And this is going to probably sound stupid.
But I guess the fact that engineer is more mechanical where the ritualist was still “mage” tier, make them less appealing than my aforementioned GW1 ritualist.
But I can’t pick a class to play… sigh.
I played Guildwars 1 and I can not express my love for the Ritualist class.
I enjoy a lot of “in and out” play style. But I also enjoy being durable.
I’ve always leaned towards casters- so during the first beta weekend, I made an ele and stuck with it all the way through launch. I made it to about 52 on live servers though and couldn’t keep up with him. Took hiatus from GW2
Came back and instantly made a Thief and honestly. This class would be my love if I didn’t hate playing them in PvE… I also only find dagger/dagger fun. So gameplay gets stale for me after a while.
TL;DR: Mesmer, guardian, ranger, engineer.
Thanks guys.
