WvW Scepter Balanced Build

I’ve tried this. Its basically a healing build with some damaging tricks, ie: bolt to the heart, evasive arcana. Problem is, with evasive arcana as one of your big damage sources, you put yourself in melee range, which is the opposite of what you want with a scepter. This would be better with d/d.

0/0/30/20/20 with written in stone and vigorous scepter seems to work a lot better. Slot 2 signets and 2 cantrips. The survivability is drastically increased, you lose no healing, and the damage you lose from bolt/evasive you get back with quick, powerful condition damage via serrated blades. Another plus is you can use your evades to get away from danger instead of going in to it.

Magnetic grasp does the same kitten thing. The only thing that helps is stopping and jumping before casting either skill. Otherwise prepare to get stuck in mid air for 3 seconds while your opponent wails on your helpless behind.

I pretty frequently use RTL off of the wall behind the waypoint in the heart of the mists, in the direction of Svanir and the Chieftain. I just did it a few times and while it’s unpredicable, as always, it’s behaving just like it did before the patch.

Any chance that there will be some sort of support for linux?

lol people still use Linux? Really?

I thought that mess of code got buried years ago.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linux_adoption

It’s probably the most popular OS in the world. Sadly, it hasn’t made much headway on the desktop. I blame that largely on game companies not supporting it, Microsoft not making their APIs cross-platform (e.g. Direct X), and the mess that is X11.

Absolutely no way my friend. Business doesn’t use it, gamers don’t use it. It is more correct to say that Linux is a fringe operating system that has been struggling since its conception many years ago. Mac has more users than Linux, and Mac only has a very very small percentage of the computer industry.

Linux the most popular? Not by a long shot. It is not even relevant in the world of computing.

Do you realize that MacOS is POSIX compliant, and includes many technologies that were originally developed for use with Linux, such as X.Org Server, the basis for it’s GUI.

The Guild Wars 2 mac client is essentially the windows binaries and assets packaged with a compatibility layer like Wine. The GW2 client runs almost perfectly on wine in Ubuntu Linux.

Also, have you heard of this little mobile OS called Android? It is 100% linux, and I hear it’s pretty popular these days.

Almost every supercomputer in the world runs Linux. How is that not relevant in the world of computing?
