SoulstitchMMO.1396 there is a flaw in your logic and let me pointed out.

You are saying in order for EtD to be fantastic you have to use Glints abilitys aka the revenant has to be a herald in order for it to work.What if some one does not want to be a herald?What if its Mallyx\Jalis mix (that mix is good because you have some sort of condi cleanse).

Lets look at it like this.Look at EtD by IT SELF ok?Then compare it to other elites that the reve has.

Jalis elite skill,Rite of the great dwarf is a aoe Stun break and a buff that reduces 50% of incoming damage for 5 sec.
Shiro elite skill,Jade Winds is a aoe stun for 3 seconds and does some damage. Both cost 50 energy.
Glint elite,Facet of Chaos\Chaos Release,first part a aoe protection boon that you can keep for ever provided you dont use other skills that drains your energy,second part is a aoe CC with some damage and super speed for 5 seconds.
Now look back at Embrace the Darkness it gives you 10% on every status which is poor at best and it gives you aoe torment pulses now IF TRATED (it gives 1 stack of poison for torment ONCE every 20 seconds and it gives 2 stacks of burning when you enter EtD for 4 seconds) + a massive drain on your energy of -7 that you cant sustain for long in any situation.
You said it gained 546 toughness but that was because you were a Herald aka using glint.As for the 10% stat boost, lets say you have 1900 vit 10% of that is 190 vit more….not that impressive am afraid.
So again please compare EtD to other elites and compare Mallyx by it self.Try to look at the bigger picture and not just saying some thing works because you use this + this + that.

Edit: i just saw that video you posted the enemys were laughably bad,that would not happen if they were rank 80 (not trying to sound elitist its just people at does ranks at least have some sense to dodge or to cleanse).

I’ve been devastating capture points with Elemental Blast, Burst of Strength, and then swapping to Embrace the Darkness. It’s kind of amazing.

Lets not be misleading here.
The poison is 1 stack per 20s and the Burn is only 2 stacks every time you activate an elite(10s icd).
Then, it takes several seconds of being in range to actually do any decent amount of Torment.

Which means in objective manipulation, it’s fantastic .Covers the entire capture point just fine. Doesn’t make it good in every situation, just it makes it useful in close quarters combat.

Getting way off topic and you didnt add any thing constructive about condi prob and utility skills.

Ok so how do you fix the condi problem then?

Edit: So i tested your build though i was doing a similar thing, prob is that Elemental Blast is easy to avoid because it pulses fire on the third pulse,same goes for Burst of Strenght.But thats another story that goes with pvp,so if you trait it land all of that still leaves etd as a inferior elite skill.As Malchior excellently pointed out.

That would be pretty cool if EtD transferred one of your conditions to nearby enemies every second or every three seconds or so. They might need to tone down or remove the torment application, but that would be fine, in my opinion. Pull condis onto you with Pain Absorption and transfer them (get them off of yourself) with EtD.

Ye you sum up what i wanted to say about EtD nicely and i agree that the torment part of EtD isnt needed but i would put instead of that Chill so you can fix the other problem that i mentioned about sticking to your targets (pulses out every 3 seconds and lasts one).Now some people may say thats OP and broken but remember this about the revenant, EVERY skill it uses apart from auto attack chain drains energy,even heal.EtD as i said if you just turn it on and do no other action you can maintain it for 20 sec,of course that scenario in pvp never happens so the time you spend in EtD is even shorter then that.

Hello,first of all i apologize for my bad english skills.

Ok to start of i have been testing mostly condi reve builds in pvp and some pve.

Combos that i tried Mallyx\Jalis and Mallyx\Glint.What i found is that Mallyx lacks condi removal well reve class suffers from a lack of condi removal over all and some lack of CC,mobility.
For mobility i imagine that reve wasnt ment to have high mobility and thats fine,it does have perma swiftness with Glint and Shiro skills.
Back to condi and Mallyx in my eyes Mallyx should be a master of condis but the way that stance menages them is bad over all.Lets talk about its heal first (Empowering Misery) it heals for more when you have more condis on your self, wich is just a worse version of Necro heal where it does the same thing but CLEANS all of condis from you,so you heal for more for every condi but how does that help you in a situation where you have 12+ stacks of burning from a Guard on you and not to talk about Blind spam from Theves or Necro condis eating you alive.
Second skill i wanna call the suicide button (Pain Absorption) i dont quite understand this skill yeah its a supportish skill,in a team fight you pull all of the condi form allys to your self and gain some resistance from it 2 seconds of it by it self and 1 for each condi on you so lets say you get like 5-7 seconds of resistance on your self then what?You still melt away from them because you cant really remove them.
Third and the most hmmm useless elite is Embrace the Darkness so whats the point of this elite?You gain 10% extra stats and you can maintain it for about 20 sec when doing nothing (as in use no other skills) it pulses out Torrment,Poison if you are trated for it and can do 2 stacks of burning when you activate it of course if you trait it.It has a massive energy drain of -7.
I fail to see when its a good time to use it because you can stack torment like crazy with out it , if you use it you will stack less over all because your other skills drain energy.
I would suggest that you build in more synergy between Pain Absorption and Embrace the Darkness.
Keep Pain Absorption the way it is but once you pull condis on to youre self make a way to get rid of them and build in a sort of condi removal by allowing Embrace the Darkness pulse out ALL of the condis on you to enemys around you,of course not all of them at once but in waves,like a condi every 3 seconds.So there is a reason to use EtD.That in my eyes would fix alot of problems that Mallyx condi managing.
Now for combos Mallyx\Jalis is best atm in my eyes because of condi removal.Jalis heal has a 3 boon remove on 30 sec CD and if you are traited you can remove 1 condi every time you swap legends.Which isnt always a good idea,you dont always want to Legend swap like eles do with their attunements.
Back to the Mallyx heal i feel that if you do what i suggested with EtD that this skill will be fine as is.If not then make it transfer 1-2 condi on targets near you.
M\J combo has a limited sorse of CC (another of reves problems) yes you do have soft CC like with your axe skill 4 and Jalis skill Forced Engagement.
M\G has one CC on a long ckitten ot sure if that was a idea for the reve for it to lack CC over all or what?
I imagine Reve as being a love child between Necro and Warrior and unlike its drunk parents it dosnt have good CC.Warriors can be a CC machines and Necros can be Fear spammers so donno what to do there but its a major weakness.
Warriors can drop condis like mad + regeneration and big hp pool (if not they tour de france and come back with skills ready to go) and Necros have a heal + DS (we all know that HP is a good way of controling condis) + staff slills etc.
Now for the torment yes Mallyx is a insane torment machine but in PVE torment falls behind other condis in damage,mobs and bosses dont move that much so your losing out on dps,poison is a weak condi dps compared to bleed and burning,yes Mallyx has burning but not alot of up time on it and it can only stack like 6 times at max for a second then it starts to fall hard.
Another problem for reve is sticking to its target but i think that was the idea since the class does not have access to imobilise (other then off hand sword skill 4 IF you block an attack,which if some one wants to run away from you wont be hitting you so donno dont really like it) and cripple.Only thing reve has is chilled and Jalis chain thats about it.Yes Shiro has Phase Traversal but you are not going to run Shiro with a condi build.Axe has a 2 second chill with 12 seconds of CD.

Thats about it for Mallyx and over all reve from my point of view.Sorry for the text wall.

Ok i have trait Bountiful Thief and for some reason when i steal it gets blocked by aegis…that never happened before.

Before it would rip that boon like any other and apply it to me and my ally’s.

I do also have Mug trait on so….am confused, did they buff that boon ?

After the patch my game freezes at the log on screen.

I don’t know what to do.I was trying to run the game normaly like i always do it started to download the patch then it froze, i closed it then started it up again, it showed me installing, then after that normal screen of log on or play where my email and password are and it freezes up again.Even if i wait or press log on it always freezes.

Hey guys,i have been trying to get dusk of rage via the mystic forge by using lvl 80 RARE greatswords and so far no luck i do get from time to time some exotic rage swords (witch cost about 2-3 gold in the TP) from it but still no dusk,so i have red the forums here and there and i see things are changed,alot of ppl r now saying u cant get dusk or dawn with RARE swords now it has to be EXOTIC greatswords.

So thats my question is it rare or exotic swords that u need for the forge?Why the switch?

Al so am 80% sure that magic find (it affects only mob drops) dosnt affect the forge but some of my friends r saying that it does affect it.So it does or it dosnt?
