I have the same issue as well. Tried the work-around listed above and no luck.

Same problems that Molesworth described. I have tried logging in/out, being demoted/promoted in guild, being kicked from guild and re-joining, leaving guild and re-joining. Nothing seems to work.

I gotta admit being in a WvW guild this is very frustrating. Any ideas when this will be fixed?

For the #magswag guys out there, for some reason, my guild really doesn’t like mag, I’m not really sure why.

And just in general, based on the votes we have so far, SoS will probably (actually almost definitely) be our new home. Part of that is because we have our joke raid nights on wednesdays sometimes, and last night we had our minion master necro zerg night. FA sent 3 guilds after us pretty much the whole night, so there was a good deal of animosity towards FA when our poll went up last night.

lol – I must admit I was commanding one of those zergs that hit you last night. Don’t let our aggression daunt you – it was not personal. If anything it was probably due to my lust for staking a few people on my old server. Also seeing all MM Necros was fun and very tempting.

Anyway, I will be more than happy to talk with you.

I just transferred to FA from DB 2 weeks ago. If you like, I would be more than happy to talk to you about my impressions, etc of both servers. Give me a shout in game – I am on most evenings or send me a message.

Both servers have a lot to offer and both would be good choices in my opinion.

I moved to this server just two weeks ago. Awesome server, great community and something for everyone. Everyone was very warm and welcoming and the server TS is awesome! <3 Fort Aspenwood

Same people, hardly representative of the server. DB has a poor rep for hacking and YB has had some in the past as well. Report them and move on rather than trying to generalise it and create kitten on the forums.

I think its safe to say that any hacks are a minority of the population of the servers. A very small portion of 5-10 people out of the entire 100s of people that wvw on a server.

Agreed – the majority of any server has good honest people. I am not trying to blackball all of SoS. What I am calling for you guys is to give them up – if you know who they are, kick them out of your guild/friends list/ whatever and report them. It is what I do if I find someone cheating/exploiting (and I have done it).

I am sure all servers have exploiters – it is what that server does as a community to combat them that makes a server honorable/dishonorable.

And yes, this whole mess has been reported to ANET – no worries there.

Ahhh Plok, your trolling of the forums always makes me laugh – both when I was in and now out of GOAT. Wish I could tell you that I was going to miss it here at DB.

As to KREW moving during middle of the week and not waiting for reset – it was a decision leadership made. Personally, I can see both sides of the arguement – stay to the end of the week on a server we did not want to be on – or make a change and get on with enjoying the game again. We chose the latter.

Some of you may not agree with that choice and that is okay. When the decision to move was announced I did not agree with it completely either. But what is not okay is to take your disappointment and turn it into hate spam on the forums. Some have even turned it personal here.

Borlis Pass – if what some of you says about KREW is true and the role was reversed – I would not be trolling the forums. Instead, I wold be celebrating a new beginning for the server. If I was in leadership at Borlis right now, I would be working hard to bring the server together and make it a viable place for guilds to want to transfer there. Point blank – if Krew is as awful as some of you are saying – why are you spending energy blackballing that which has left you (and making yourselves look bad in the process)? Why not spend it instead on creating a better server for yourselves?

Finally, if KREW or any member of it is a bunch of drama queens, etc., I am sure Dragon Brand will figure it out.

I gotta say it is nice to be on a server that works together as well as Dragonbrand does. No drama, no infighting and great group of people. Many of us in [Krew] have already felt very welcome here.

On a side note, it is at least good to see BP waking up again and bringing on a good fight in WvW for the first time in what I think is weeks. I wish BP the best in its rebuild and moving forward.
