What healing/utility/elite skills?

I’m level 18 and play solo mostly. What weapon and utility skills are best for easy/efficient leveling? Thanks.

Only level 8 but wondering the easiest way to level for a new player? I’ve tried searching but only found info that is years old. Is staff or dagger/warhorn still the way to go? What about utility skills? This is purely for PvE solo leveling. Thanks!

Thanks for the info guys. I guess i should have mentioned this is for leveling purposes. I’m only lvl 12. Is that build still applicable? I have been using staff anyway so far and it’s great except for how insanely squishy i am.

What is the best build/skills/traits if you want to level purely via open world content solo and maybe the occasional dungeon? If there is a link to a current guide, even better. Thanks in advance.

I’m new to GW2 and only have one character at lvl 60. I started on Anvil Rock ankitten ow looking to find a guild. Normally, i would just go to the server forum and look for a guild but I keep hearing something about a “mega-server” which is a bit confusing.

When i look on the guild recruitment forums, does the server matter or can i just join any guild because they merged all the servers into one mega-server?

Thanks for the quick reply and info. Some follow-ups:

1) Is there a strong pure ranged dps class in GW2?

2) Is GS or Sword/Axe the strongest melee choice?

Just started playing a few days ago and just hit 55. Some questions:

1) I prefer being ranged only so have just been using Longbow with Jaguar pet. Is this viable or do you have to go melee or ranged/melee to be taken in dungeons, etc?

2) If you go Longbow with GS or Sword/Axe, do you open with Longbow skills and switch to melee when those skills are on cooldown? Or more accurately, what is the rotation when you go both ranged and melee?

3) For skills i’ve been using Healing Spring, Sic Em, Quickening Zephyr, Signet of the Hunt, and Rampage as One. Is this ok for leveling? In general?

4) Best traits for leveling? In general?
