I was under the assumption that DnT is not allowed to identify themselves as raid testers, as stated in the NDA.

my guess is once the first raid wing went live you could totally say that you tested the first raid wing…you just can’t say that you are testing the other raid wings yet

NDA’s dont end as soon as the content goes live, they are forever

Didn’t they pubically announce DnT and ATT would be doing Raid Testing? I’m pretty sure. In fact 100% sure as the entire community knew. However, they never said which specific members where in.

i can understand it. In League of legends, teams scrim to test Builds and Strategies, but in GW2, we have not enough teams to have a lot of scrims, so you try things in TeamQ. So its possible that we reveal some special tactics. So teams can block us from casting yes.

If Teams dont want to get shoutcasted, we cant cast them. And so many Teams block us from casting, i think we can only cast 1 out of 6 games, maybe less.

And the point is if you are not comfortable streaming the games then it would be worth just giving up the privilege of watching games and emailing anet asking them to find a replacement for you. Preferably someone who will use the feature to shoutcast games – as it was designed for.

You want to watch a Stream, which is 55 min on break and then one game and then 55 min break? Because that is all you can get by streaming this. Teams dont want to get casted and we have to accept this. And we invest so many hours per week in planning Tourneys, cast tournaments and help the community, we cant do more for you.

But everyone here can apply to the ASP, join us, and cast the Qpops and work with the Community. Everyone can invest the same time to help GW2, like we in ASP do. But remeber: you are not allowed to play bigger tournaments like ToL, ToG and WTS cause we have the advantage of knowing Team-strategies and you really have to work and not sit around and do nothing!

And Sensotix absolutly deserved the kick. He did something, we were not allowed to do!

Again, we can only cast games if the Teams allow it. If they dont, we cant. And yes, using this to learn Teams, Strategies and Builds is not bad, its the idea of the Shoutcaster Programm, cause we have to know these people, we have to know their strategies, cause we talk about it in every Tournament. Knowing the teams and their plans is as important as knowing the game itself.

Love you Sputti. Waffle and ChroNick do often watch as well. One idea is to just ask at the beginning of a match in map chat if it’s ok to stream a game, especially when we’re pugging, it’s fine to stream it. Just ask, and I think very frequently we’ll say yes.

I know its okey for you guys, but what happens, when the other team says no? we have a stream running, 100 or more people waiting, and we cant do anything, cause the other team dont want to get streamed. So maybe we have a good evening and stream a lot, but maybe we have a stream with 2 hours and only one game. Its a risk and waiting kills viewer :P

i’m german Caster and on EU, we spectate a lot of Games. I watch ~7-10 Games per day, to learn Builds, to see the Teams, to learn Account-Names and to talk to PvP-Player.

You can ask Teams like 55 HP, Lunch Box, Cheese Mode, Made in Meta, PBJT, they always talk to me in Map-Chat. Some Teams dont like spectating, so i dont say “Hello” in every Match.

And i am not the only one on EU. ChroNick, the other german caster, spectates more matches than me, Waffle from France is often spectating with me together and we talk about the matches in the Team-Chat.

The other problem is, that you cant stream the Top-Teams. Most of them dont want to get streamed, cause you should not show their strategies to the public. So we have ~4-6 Games per hour to spectate, in four or five of them we are not allowed to cast. You can imagine how boring a stream would be with only 1 Game per hour. So most of the Teams are the reason why we cant cast it, but we still use it to learn something from them.

Please dont say, that shoutcaster dont use this tool, cause you cant see, if Casters are in your Match.

You mean League of Legends? Thats not true, Rekkles was not allowed to play Tournaments and Worlds last year, because he was 17. So Fnatic played with him online, but pushzu had to replace him in every offline Tournament

What about using ESL weekly cups as a elimination to the big tournemnts? 1-2 months before such tournament team will have to dogn in to the esl and gain some point after wining vs team , that would bring more teams to ESL , kinda sad to see 6 same teams every week
