What if they change all burst skill to be 1 adrenaline bar but add a third weapon set? I mostly selfishly want it because I like dual melee in WvW but it can get boring without a ranged weapon if you join a zerg or defend a tower. But anyways could be fun get more skill options and be a true master of weapons, but having a lot of skills that’s probably eles area.
On a more balanced note you could still get 3 bar use by swapping between weapons but the adrenaline you get from weapon swap may make that too good. berzerker stance could like temporarily allow full 3 bars.
Anyone else have some fun day dream ideas they’d like for the warrior?
You get more mileage out of it than you do Berserker’s Power?
For me yes, I’m not the best dodger/counter player that warrior typically required to be effective so that may be why, but it gives me a lot of sustain to make up for my mistakes and then I use full zerker gear so my damage is usually good enough.
I just wanted to add my two cents that I like the Might Makes Right trait. It has a lot of fun synergies with forceful greatsword, strength rune, sigil of ruthlessness, shield master, etc. I play WvW mostly with a lot of PvP and PvE thrown in, I’m just a casual player and it seems like it may be OP in some people hands, but for me it’s just right and brought a lot of fun back in the class for me and what I really like about warrior that if you need to heal and get out of a tough spot you need to fight and hit them harder rather than back off and regroup/heal.
I posted this in another thread, but this has been working for me.
I like this D/D build but yes rune is not realy the best choice.
leadership, scrapper are the two i would prefer. Also a tipp is surging rune.
Thanks for the advice, I’ll try those out! Also, what would you think of rune of the warrior? Maybe rune of durability/dolyak?
Just to throw in my 2 cents this is what i run.

Not sure rune choice is the best, but its worked out well for me. I also run the same build pvp actually too. Engage in air attunment overload to create a nice fighting area, then switch to fire to get some good damage out then to water to heal and cleanse. Your health will bounce all over the place as you heal your abysmal health through their bursts, but its a fun active build. Basic ideas always be casting a skill and dodging/switching attunments when not going for the overload and keep those conditions off you, and never use churning earth =-P
Zagerus thanks for the advice it does seem perhaps im missing a lot of elegance in the class. CTFT i didn’t mean to say dodge is pointless just meant to say that the forced focus of it with the specialization was disappointing to me. But yeah maybe it was a little silly to give it so much crap. And I know warrior is definitely strong just feels lack luster in comparison with other professions, I didn’t really say anything about what I love about the warrior maybe that was a mistake.
Thanks for the feedback everyone. YuiRS sorry I apparently just came off as ignorant, I’ll try looking into rampage more guess I just couldn’t figure it out just didn’t seem on the level with rage and battle standard and thus never used. Elegie, thanks I’ll be sure to focus my posts better. Shala I didn’t mean to sound like all their skills are hard to land just eviscerate feels really constrictive with the range but I see your point maybe that was intentional to make it more skill based, and blade trail is a great skill for what it is just felt like in 90% of a fight I don’t really need to use it and it’s sad to limit the skill space further like that.

Edit:
Apparently I was a little over critical in my assessment and just more naturally inclined to other classes. As well as too verbose so I edited this to be more focused.
I obviously missed the mark with rampage, but are there some musts in a warrior build to make the adedge “The longer warriors stay in a fight, the more dangerous they become.” True? Currently I feel like the opposite is true. I’ve tried various weapon combos and builds but I feel like I must be missing some hidden gem.

It would be nice if in crafting when you want to craft a big item that where you can view what you need, you could just click on the items (if it is a craft-able item and you have the materials to make it) and it would create it instead of having to go to each other piece and hitting craft
