I am glad that this post had a few responds.
The randomness, is not a bad thing for a game. But, when you can “get nothing” or “get it all”….
This will become very unhealthy for the game.

Why? Well… why should we play a game that doesnt reward us?

I am not asking “free loot” (woops… allready did that with the Krakan event)

(wanna talk about buying gems with real money? allright! how much would it be to buy for a 250-500g item?)

Let me begin with some examples :

Salvage : chance of getting one piece of wood or 3 ecto.
Fractal event : chance of getting 3g or 500g (selling items of course).
Fractal event “bis”: chance of getting an exotic bow as a guardian or 2 precursor
Fractal dungeon: chance of getting only greens.
Drops: chance of getting “no” 400 level ingrediant after 1h of farming… or even 4 hours.
WvWvW Tokens: Same “squad”, same group. After 3hours, some have 20 others have 100 tokens.
BlackChest: haha…
Fountain : … im not gonna talk about it.

There are alot of other cool stories (bro). Im just showing some of them… (80pc or 1.50g in bags..?).

So, question : who is your client? who is the guy buying stuff with real money? the hardcore gamer? or the casual gamer?
How many hardcore gamers are there?…. and casuals?

So I actualy won 3g and others won 150g.
So I am one of those who actualy got “nothing good” rather than having “everything and more”

Thank you for finding the solution and giving the chest for those who were disconnected. I’m still hoping that they’ll all get one.

I am glad a solution is found, but I am also getting worried that alot of people that has participated won’t get that “mail”.

Also, please note : boosting pre-legend during an event is not a good idea… Especialy if you can get “nothing” or “everything and even more…”

Im posting here also saying that I’ve been there from the begining…. Crashed :

Impossible to relog for at least 30min
Impossible to log on the forum

When i heard what I missed…. I’m now “unhappy”.

“unhappy” can be replaced by lots and lots of other words !

For a 2h30 event : no mail reward? no npc distributing ? I lost 2h30 min of a half bored half thrilled event?….

Sorry but I want an solution and “NO” is not one of them.
