The sad truth about berserker

How is this sad, though? It’s common knowledge by now-as well as the importance of letting people use whatever they wish regardless.

Your solo situation is also very improbable for 100% of players. Some builds/Professions survive forever with Rabid’s, however longer it may take.

I think intolerance is much sadder (in-game or in real life, doesn’t matter). Playing with Berserker’s gear is not inherently good or evil (works great for most content), but players deeming others “selfish”/“baddies”/“carebears”/“playhowyouwants” for playing this or that way that is not “meta” is the true sad story in this game-the need to belittle others for being different/playing whatever.

Let them fix/redo encounters so people are more open-minded about builds (though I know it’s unlikely it for most of the PvE battles we already have.) Do have fun with whatever gear you use, and don’t dictate to others how they must enjoy their own, individual gaming experience.

At the very least, have the decency to play with like-minded individuals, rather than pug and complain how others are “slowing you down” with “terrible builds/gear.”

(Edited: the statements after the second paragraph weren’t aimed at you, OP, but were made as a general comment.)

"Guild Wars 2 Is Not A PvE Game". Really?

It’s an old holdover from those who always preferred PvP on GW1. Honestly, both type of players should just learn that it’s OK for each other to like those different aspects of the game. PvE players shouldn’t deny PvP players their fun, and viceversa.

In short, we should not complain whenever developers are working for either PvE or PvP content, because both deserve attention, and it’s selfish for us to want them to cater only to our specific wants. I rarely touch PvP, and have no problem with them working on it at all-GW2 also has PvP aspects, and that’s fine, especially since many players like that stuff. If the PvE game is to prosper, the PvP game should also do well (at least, that’s probably the theory behind all of this.)
