Guild Wars 2

Don’t know if it’s the same thing, but I can’t play my main character at all. It starts to load the page, then crashes. I was able to get on with my secondary character today, played for about 20 minutes, then crashed. This is really getting frustrating.

Ditto. I can get to the character screen, but no further. Crashes every time. Someone suggested running a client repair. Anyone know how to do that?

No other crashes, so far. I’m noticing other threads where others are having the same problems I’m having, so I’m thinking the problem may be on the GW side. I think I will run a client repair just to be on the safe side. Thanks, all!

I’ve been having the problem since last weekend. Got the new build, then the next new build, but still having the same problem.

Same here. I thought it was a conflict with a newly installed Windows 10. Apparently not.

Does anyone know if there’s a problem with the GW2 client and Windows 10? Since I upgraded to Win X, GW2 won’t play for more than 10 minutes before shutting off. Sometimes it gives me a “Send Error” message, sometimes it just turns off. Also, I haven’t been able to get into Lions Arch all week. Could it have something to do with the new upload?

Is there an issue with GW2 and Windows 10? Ever since I updated my computer to Win 10, GW2 will just shut down. No errors. No saves. No “send this to” box. No specific location or time frame. I can play for 5 minutes, or I can play for an hour. It just suddenly turns off as if I quit. It makes it difficult to get anywhere on the game.
