It has been 6 days since the ticket was filed. An extremely nice GM replied to me but till date, no action have been taken.

Reported as well as I feel that lysico is going from thread to thread attempting to troll with no constructive assistance. Enough is enough.
Thanks azazil, I am still waiting for them to review my husband’s ticket as it is the 3rd day and I had posted on the three day review thread hopefully the one and only can review my ticket seriously. I am very demoralized after reading through some of the threads while many are getting fast responses and not my husband’s ticket did not have any other responses. I hope they get their act together.

This is the 3rd day since my husband filed the ticket. Beside the generic reply from GM Rand, there are no other updates from your good support team. Since your support team is not able to help, we hope that your good self can help us since you are the only person that is actively responding to the community. The support team, till date, could not even reply. I will not take “holiday” or “christmas” as an excuse for us to have a longer wait as stated in that generic reply because if you are obviously aware that it is a holiday, which Anet had made us extremely upset and unhappy, you should not be banning people while knowing that there could be “false positives” or wrongful banning.
This make us, legit players also known as consumers, have the impression that Anet doesn’t care about their players. They only care about sales from the gem store and the fight against the real money traders are to protect the gem store. I do not care how much explanation you give asking us to blame RMTers or gold sellers. Let me give you a scenario, a police is chasing a criminal and shot a passerby, are you saying that the passerby should blame the criminal for running past him? That is absurd.
This is your fight. We are legit players and we should not be wrongly banned and bear in mind that, there are no compensation or whatsoever given by Anet. An apology is just not going to cut it. Hope to hear a reply from you as soon as possible.

Dear Gaile, I am very glad you posted in this thread. I would be very happy if you guys can expedite to look at “the set of data” that points to RMT. We played this game since launch and had saved up every copper from dungeon runs, doing events and also buying gems for conversion from the gem store. My husband was helping me build my legendary weapon bit by bit and what happened on 24/12/2012 came as a rude shock for both of us when we were doing FOTM dungeon and suddenly he was banned. It has been 2 days and we did not receive any other replies beside the generic reply and this thread. Thank you.
If you continue on bad perceptions, it will not help anybody. Sending money alone is no reason for a ban. It was stated here by an official. Stating it differently by players because of msconceptions doesn’t make it true. Even if you continue saying so.
As was said before, here are Goldsellers posting too. Nobody knows for sure (except Anet employees) who is phony and who is real. I don’t believe about a dozen postings and I don’t perceive them as a “majority” of players. It is always that the suffering people are more outspoken than the normal people on forums. I don’t have numbers.
False positives are a result of a fight against the bad guys. This is said. But I do believe, that Anet tries to avoid false positives and that they try to correct them as fast as possible.
Anything else is gossip. Unfruitful gossip.
I disagree with what you say. If sending money is no reason for a ban, then why are innocent people banned for sending gold? My husband only mail stuffs to me, had never mailed anything else to any other people or received gold from anybody, he still got banned.
What they are doing now is to ban everyone they have on mere suspicion and then slowly filter out one by one. This is wrong. If a crime happens in a place, are you going to arrest everyone, put them inside a lockup, and slowly filter out one by one releasing them and giving no apologies? Or for that matter, do you think an innocent person likes to be prosecuted for something they did not do?
Especially they impose a ban (based on mere suspicion) on a Christmas Eve, which is a holiday that people can have free time to play game and yet the waiting time is much extended due to the holiday. You could have pick a better time to ban or even ask your security team to look through the logs before doing a permanent ban. I do not know if Anet understand how ridiculous this situation is and it will be much much more well managed if they put themselves in the gamers or consumers shoes who showed support to their game (whether buying the game or visiting the gems store). Maybe a staff can shed light on how would they feel if they are just an ordinary player and got banned for no apparent reason with no apologies given and even letting people wait 3, 4, 5 days or even longer to get a simple generic answer?
You need to go to “support” tab, create a ticket and wait. In this case which is very slow and upsetting since it had to happen on a holiday where my husband is not working and finally had the time to play
I am pretty sure that it is the sending of gold to me that had got him banned. We been mailing each other items since game started and nothing happened. Only few days ago, he mailed me 40g to purchase t6 mats and a few occasion of 5 – 10g to help him buy stuff, and next thing we know he is banned =(

What do you mean by half the story? Anet can give the other half of the story then. Also Lysico, by trolling in private message sent to me is not appreciated thus I will not reply to you. I am in a bad situation here I don’t need you make it any worse. Thank you.
Of all times, Anet decided to ban my husband at Christmas Eve with no apparent reason or on mere suspicion that he is doing real money trading. To think we are even actively reporting gold spammers. He did not do it and even ticket was raised and looking through the forums, some people got their problems resolved within a couple of hours. It is so easy to check the mailing history which is between myself and my husband but till now, my husband still cannot log in. I do not know why is there a double standard or is it just due to convenience sake for such issue. My husband is innocent so why does he have to suffer the ban? The procrastination in resolving this issue will still considered a temporary ban of a few days for something he did not do? This policy of ban first investigate later is unfair really. I really hope Anet can do something about this as being accused of something you did not do and action taken against you before you are even proven guilty is ridiculous and I believe any of you would not like to be in this similar position as well.

I was running FOTM dungeon with my husband until something rude abruptly happened. My husband was banned for engaging in real money trading activity for no apparent reason. My husband and I supports Anet by buying gems so why do we need to engage in real money trading if we are buying gems from Anet? Slapping ourselves in our faces? My husband had recently mailed me 40g to assist me in buying materials after he got me my legendary precursor from the forge and I believed he got banned for that.
Please note that to make a legendary weapon is not cheap and if I know that sending money to me will get him banned, I would not ask him to do it.
I do not know whether it is the incompetency of the person monitoring the transaction or is it just due to system failure. Please look into this ridiculous situation you put us in on a Christmas night which disrupted our gaming with no justification at all. Thank you.
