I’m looking for changing my CPU now, but before I want to be sure, that ANet will not solve this problem on the next day I’ll do it…

I have AMD Phenom II X6 1055T 2.80Ghz CPU, NVidia GTX 470 GPU and 8 Gb DDR. I hadn’t problems with perfomance since the server starting, but last 3-4 months it’s very horrible, especially on WvW (about 3-5 FPS). I have some freezes even when I rotate camera when running or jumping (it falls from 50-60 to 15 FPS).

I have already written tickets to support and together we try many different things and check my drivers, hardware and many others. Nothing helped. At the end I make “format C” and reinstall Windows, but that didn’t help too.

I’ve compared my computer with my friend’s, he has more weaker configuration except CPU. His CPU is Intel Core i5 2500 @ 3.30GHz, and mine AMD Phenom II X6 1050T. And he play in WvW with best graphic. I’m sure, that my CPU is the reason why I have so bad FPS.

And I want to know, does ArenaNet planing to optimise the game for AMD-processors too, or it will work well only for Intel in near future?

I want official answer.

Good idea, I think. Rana Sum is more suitable for entrance.
