Guild Wars 2

There is an unexplained interaction when dropping a banner into a fire field that results in double the might for everyone involved, for…no reason? At least none that I, or anyone I’ve spoken to, can see. And no, this is not just from Phalanx Strength, that usually results in a 3 for me and 6 for everyone else. This interaction gives 6 and 12 respectively, on its own.

Thank you Tatye! As I told you, I’ll look into Hope. Are there any other guilds who might have a place for someone like me? I’m still in the searching phase of things.

As the title says, been around for a while, and have put more hours into this thing then I feel comfortable admitting on a forum lol. That said, I need a guild, and still haven’t found what I’m looking for unfortunately.

Summary

This is a long post, I know that. So I’ll give the summary here instead of at the bottom if you’re a busy guy/gal. I’m 20, male, greatly enjoy GW2, but am socially bored out of my mind with it. Am looking for an adult guild, who when they’re playing the game, they’re playing the game, and enjoying it (that doesn’t mean there can’t be serious conversations, those are cool. Just…don’t have it in your guild mantra to depress people if you catch my drift). I’m on the Tarnished Coast and would really prefer a guild that is ACTIVE and also on that server. However, if I feel the guild really hits on everything I want, I’d be willing to transfer. Lastly, voice chat is cool and I’ll use it, but for me, it’s not a deal maker/breaker. If you need more, feel free to brave the novel I’ve written below.

About me:

I dip into most of the large features of the game in phases (from RP’ing for hours on end, to sprees of Arena PvP), so I’m not looking for a specialist guild. Nor am I looking for a group that will carry me because some guide or another says that is required.

I just want my chatbox to be filled with more than random drivel, or worse and more often; nothing at all. An active, low drama environment where, when I’m on, I can remember that I didn’t buy Guild Wars 2 as a single player game. But an MMO where maybe, juuust maybe, people in a guild speak to one another for more than build advice, or railing against “the system” (those conversations certainly have their place, but there must be more to it).

Specific likes:

RP (I am casual about it as far as time I put in, but I’ve been told I’m “good” at it and create organic scenes.)

PvE/Dungeons (My number one really and not just Meta Stuff, I’ll tag along with someone to tackle a heart I need just as willingly as I would zerg mash Scarlet Briar, or facestomp Giganticus Lupicus)

PvP/WvW (Like I said, in phases, but it does happen! I’m closing in on Champion Magus!)

Mature People who can hold a conversation. (I can NOT stress this enough, seriously if you have any doubts about your guild’s ability to talk to one another, please skip over my post. I’m not being mean, but talking to people is a huge thing for me, otherwise I’d play Skyrim again.)

Specific Dislikes

Cliques, Favoritism, “Only my opinion matters” attitudes. (Haaaaa, my skin is crawling. Enough said.)

Ghost towns (As mentioned, I like some sort of social environment in a guild!)

Yep, I’m going to spend my first however long it takes giving the traits thorough look over and bringing all my characters back in line with my vision of how I play them and what I feel they should be doing.
