Guild Wars 2

Thanks folks – I’ve found a home in Wayward Blades on TC. I appreciate your following up!

Greetings! I’m a returning player with a handful of characters scattered between levels 6 and 52. I"m primarily a PvE guy, but dabble in PvP on occasion. I’ve been an active roleplayer in other games but have not dipped my toes in those waters in Tyria, yet; while I enjoy RP and will happily participate, it’s not my primary focus in-game.

I’m still re-learning the game and how my various characters work; I try to be good at playing my chosen classes without making the game my job. In a group setting I’m happy to fill whatever slot the group needs to the best of my ability. In previous games I’ve been everything from raid tank to group main healer to support buffer. I played a bard in Everquest 1 for a long time, so adaptability is something I’m familiar with.

What I’m looking for is a guild home where I can enjoy the various aspects of the game with an emphasis on having fun and social interaction, with people around to at least communicate with and preferably group up with several times a week. I’m an older gamer with a responsible day job & family; gaming is my fun escape once in a while. I prefer a mature & generally civil environment free of any racism, homophobia or other similar intolerant nonsense. Drama in RP is fine (and wonderful!) while OOC drama is right out.

I’m on the US East Coast with my playtime typically in the evenings after 7 PM EDT or so on weeknights, and highly variable on the weekends. I’m spending most of my game time these days as Luxilliar (elementalist) and Miles Janver (warrior).
