-Drones are immune to melee damage / cleaves (cuz they fly so you can’t quite reach them with a sword for example)
-Drones are targetable only with Ranged weapons / attacks (cuz they fly) and take reduced damage from SOME aoe fields (like frostbow 4, ele staff 5, bomb explosions, greatsword throw of warrior etc , stuff that is logical to be able to hit flying stuff)
-Drones fly a little behind the engi and attack whatever the engi attacks
-Drones can be micromanaged individually and sent wherever you want to guard area and attack on sight, they can use the GW1 hero system where you could flag each of your heroes to go to a different place (the system is there, just needs to be ported over)
If drones get these and have their damage balanced around these characteristics it would be great.
Also we can have 1 drone that burns ppl, 1 that shoots and 1 that applies vulnerability (just an example)
Ranger spirits r different kitten, they don’t actively take part in the combat. they just sit behind boosting ppl so people need to actually think where it’s best to place them to benefit the most. It is good like that.
I can see drones working like a turret rework in the way that they fly a little behind the engineer/ forge, following him and attacking whoever the engi attacks. Also being drones and flying they shouldn’t be affected by cleave damage, maybe just take reduced damage from SOME aoe fields (engi bombs, ele frostbow 4 etc) and be attackable only by ranged weapons/attacks (since they fly)
Also the option to take direct control over them and micro each or al las a group to go to point X and do stuff would be cool. Control would be like the drones are considered a different character u can select with a hotkey and right clik where to go and who to attack.
it’s not necessary a flamethrower, it’s just a fire field in front of the character, and the barrel looks more like a plasma beam hence the backpack fits it :/
I really hope engi is the last reveal because they worked the most on it and it’s the greatest

Description:
Almost each day during the 20:00 – 00:00 (GMT+2) Time interval the game gets unplayable due to huge lag. What I get is 15 seconds or more chat delay, skill activation delay, half minute or more freezes,frequent disconnects, unable to reconnect or reconnecting takes ages, and then I get DC again. In the last 3 weeks I think only 4 or 5 days when this didn’t happen.
For me it happens ONLY during that time interval and it’s weird, any other aplication works perfectly , my internet connection is stable.

I wish they spend more time on fixing important issues than rushing out laggy, unpolished Living World updates every 2 weeks
Maybe it’s a certain region on which their servers fail to patch :-? I’m from Romania too… I never have issues with anything else (for example my battlenet downloader works just fine now). I had issues with the GW2 launcher in the past but it never did this.
