I’d like to add another:
If you have Aeromancer’s Training as well as Fire Signet, if you use Ride the lightning you don’t get the full bonus.
For me instead of 10%~ Crit I seem to be getting 1% after using RtL.
After a few more tests, it seems like Fire Signet has no effect – you gain ~1% increase to crit chance instead of the normal ~10% regardless of if you have it on or not.

Traited: Glass Cannon
Gear: Zerker accessories with some Valkyrie armor pieces, Ruby Orbs P/S D/D SB.
Experience: Have done P2 and P3, have managed to Melee lupi with moderate success – new to the dungeon though.
Time: Thursdays-Saturdays, am a Eu player on an NA Server but I spend a lot of time playing.
Others: I also have a Mesmer with some Arah Exp but would rather stick to thief.
