This just in, I told my friend to make a BRAND NEW account and put the serial code into that, it worked instantly. The area.net says he has the HoT content and he got the email on his alternate address. I would assume this is an issue with accounts linked to Guild Wars 1 but don’t take that as evidence seeing as how I am not a dev. nor rep. of Areanet.

Making sure this doesn’t get necro-ed so soon. I, like these two, are having an issue with my friend getting the digital Ultimate key to work. The purchase was fine but as stated the “Add a Code” area simply sits in a loading symbol (he too linked a Guild Wars 1 account if that is important at all). Submitted a ticket stating the issue in addition to commenting here.
