I thought this was true untill i contacted amd and they said they are working on new drivers but theres been no mention of guild wars 2,so they wanted me to do a survey and get others to do it if there having the ssame problems,heres the survey link even though it says 12.8 at the top its for all drivers,including 12.6 etc

I contacted amd and asked about guild wars 2 because of the bad gpu load and fps some people are getting even with an amazing computer,they said to do this survey so they get more infomation and said if i know others with problems get them to do it to,even if your gfx card isnt listed (like mine i have a 4870 so i clicked other) the more info they get the better.least this gives us the best chance of the some gw2 fixes in the next driver releases etc,even if your series if 4000 or lower.link below

i currently have a amd fx 6100 3.3 ghz and a amd 4870 1 gb,ino there not great hardware but more then enough for gw2,in WvW i can have 10 fps yet my GPU load is 20%!,it seems to vary but i never see it above 30 in WvW.

i havent tried to underclock yet,as id rather get the full potentional of my card yano wot i mean? i dont freeze up my fps is just extremely bad at times.

mines powercolor as well lol.they suck in gw2

currently the main release from amd for my gfx card is 12.6 were as the newer gfx cards are 12.8.has anyone found better drivers then 12.6? for cards 4000 series and lower?

iv got an ati card(4870) and they only update every 3 months and the games playing extremely badly for me,only useing 20% gpu load at times,they need to sort it out for everyone!

Is there any news iv missed regarding everyoneas problems with low fps? attached screenshot of an example when in WvW,whys this game so badly optimized? it reminds me of GTA IV lol.this game just doesnt even try to use my graphics card at all!

Not sure why 690 is dropping fps so hard. It definitely shouldn’t be. My 660TI’s in Sli work perfectly. I took a short clip in the Norn starting area testing Sli.

what program are you useing to display ur fps,load etc? id much rather use that then keep tabbing out to see gpu z lol

I’m debating about upgradeing some parts in my computer but im not sure if it would be worth it with bottlenecking etc.id like to buy a gtx 670,heres my specs below.if i got this card would my cpu bottleneck it? what should i upgrade? i would like gw2 to run well,even though its not very well optimized atm,and allso new upcoming games etc.debating about buying a new mobo and going with intel instead of amd? any tips would be great ty in advance

Been in contact with support since the game was released trying over and over to get better fps,doing all sorts of tests like speccy,benchmarking,settings etc etc and no luck,my gpu only uses around 25-30% of my gpu load nearly all the time,so gw2 is only uses a quarter of my card.the loads drops the lowest when theres loads of characters onscreen,for example in WvW attacking a gate with 30 of us,my fps is around 10 yet the gpu load is like 20%.hope we find some way of sorting this
