Guild Wars 2

Hi everyone, I’m back! Maybe you saw my post in PvP where I was tricked into a 2v1 and died. Well, this time the only one to blame is me. In PvE, no less.

I decided to give PvP a break and continue the HoT story, which is fantastic. My only complaint is having to get mastery unlocks to open the story, that’s a pain.

ANYWAY! Gliding. Gliding is required for a lot of the content in HoT. With Basic gliding, you can access most of the stuff but you still need updrafts, longer gliding ect for the harder to reach places or just for quality of life. I only have basic gliding, I’m leveling up things as the story says I need them sooo.. Gliding – language- exalted runes – updraft.

The story I was on asked me to glide to the bottom of the map. I was eager, gliding is awesome. The map was beautiful. I thought, “wow this would be a neat screenshot once I close the UI…”

Yeah. Fun stuff. I did manage to do it over and get a good SS and live, though!

I thought this was pretty neat until the end and it got a bit weird lol. But in all seriousness, I agree. Everyone plays at a different skill and no one is trying to lose on purpose. When I go into matches, I like to type in /m and give words of encouragement before it starts and tell everyone to try their best. Because to me, that’s all that matters. Win some lose some but it’s never cool to take out bad matches on your teammates, they could really be trying. They may have a long way to go before their at your level but I don’t think insulting and belittling them will help them in growth or be good for the community overall.

So, last night I was streaming and all match this team was kicking our butt hard. Once an animal realizes it’s prey, of course it will be scared and do all it can to avoid the predator. That was me, I was afraid to jump in because I had died repeatedly and recognized that I was outclassed. So I waited until one of them were alone to jump in and watch the predator become the prey. Little did I know, they were smarter than me. The whole battlefield was their hunting ground. I was cattle being led to the slaughter and these wolves stalked and toyed with me until my dying breath.

Aloramancer and Marceline, I hope you find this post. I’m not angry. I’m actually inspired, I was so comfortable playing my Scrapper and felt good enough. Now I see that I have a long way to go. I’m going to continue practicing, with different professions even. Next time we meet, I won’t be so easily defeated.

Hey all, first off thanks for taking the time to read this. My question is fairly simple and undoubtedly noobish :p

I’m interested in buying skins from the BLTC like the Viper set or Krytan even. Though I’m unsure if it’s one time use or how it even works at all. Am I buying an actual armour set that replaces my current gear? Or is it skins that give my current gear a new look while keeping the same stats.

Also, if it’s the latter, is it one time use? I’m not level 80 so if I used it on my current lvl 40 gear, will I be able to use the skin later if I come across better gear?
