Today I logged in after the most recent patch (the glyph of ele power one) and, as I did my daily gathering, I had some skills disappear from my character’s skill bar, totally randomly. For instance, my engi had no elite, and my ranger had no healing skill and no staff 5 (yes, just the 5). I had to swap weapons and as I swapped back to staff it said “Skill Learned, etc”.
So, yeah… not that I mind slotting skills again but you might want to look into that because apparently you broke something when you tweaked skills in this last patch.
Hey everyone,
I just wanted to say I finished this first mission of the second episode of LWS3 and it blew my mind, it was incredible!
The dialog reveals were awesome, the fight was very fun and the music during the fight was outstanding. Loved every second of it, especially the easter eggs of a certain asura, it was hilarious.
I can only say thank you so much for this piece of gameplay

Here are some tips on how to run this fight if you’re an elementalist.
For survival:
-Try and have a look on your water trait line, there’s some very useful heal traits there, as well as some condition removal on dodge and such, for those burning conditions you’ll likely suffer.
-Your third trait line should be Tempest, to maximize your healing via overload water and auras. It also helps your dps while kiting Garm via overload air/fire.
For the fight itself:
-Focus your attention on outrunning the fire circles Eir will spawn, using “Eye of the storm” for superspeed. If you outrun those, the most dangerous aspect of the fight is gone since you won’t get burnt. The shots she fires that leave a straight line on the ground can be jumped, don’t bother dodging those. Dodge only when extremely necessary while fighting Garm.
-Once you take Garm down, try as best as you can to break Eir’s defiance bar, since that will improve your damage to her by a great deal. For this, I would recommend you go Dagger/Focus, since you would have great cc skills such as Focus air 5, and water 4-5. These weapons also provide you with some invulnerability (Obsidian flesh, in earth) and a great deal of auras, to synergize with the Tempest line to give you plenty of regen and such.
And the most important of all, have patience and practice. The best way to learn how to play a class is to find a fight that presents some challenge and try your best to learna and improve in order to overcome it. Always have a look at your possibilities switching traits and weapons, and you’ll learn a great deal on how to adapt to each situation depending on the encounter.
6 stacks of sand is 1500 sand -> 500 glass -> 167 glass mugs? Why do you count 17? I don’t get it.
lol mate I think you forgot to scratch a zero there. 1500 silky sand yields (max) 150 coarse sand, which translates to 50 lumps of glass, and finally around 17 glass mugs.
That is, of course, if you’re lucky enough to have all that silky sand converted into coarse sand. Which isn’t usually the case since you get geodes/crests/keys/nothing in return as well.
Unless I’m mistaken and the OP really meant 6 stacks of coarse, which I doubt tbh. But I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt.

I don’t know if it’s the weekend but between last night and now I’ve experienced like 15 of these:
Only took a couple of screenies, I would take more but I’m tired of losing pips.
Clearly it’s not just friends teaming up for some matches, people must have found a way to exploit this new matchmaking because every time I’ve seen these low division compositions on the other team they have utterly dominated the match, whereas when I faced full rubies vs full rubies (maybe one or two sapphires here and there), matches were pretty well balanced skill wise.

Hello,
I’ve found out that since they fixed the latency issues with glider deployment, if you dodge right as you open your glider, it consumes the endurance but my character doesn’t stealth. Instead, It shows an “invulnerable” message but no stealth or anything.
I tried giving it a little more time and if you wait a bit more than 1 second to open your glider, it does indeed stealth you. Although this is a minor issue, I would like to know if anyone else has experienced this. Opening your glider instantly might be key to avoid getting snipped down by some mordrem, as they like to do, but specially I wanted to bring this up before the January 26th patch since it was mentioned that the new shatterer fight involves gliding and stealth, so it kinda makes sense to fix it in order to prevent future rants.
Thanks for your time.
Just recieved the item back, I sent a request through the website to the CS and the response time and the recovery of the item was pretty kitten quick, I’m very happy. Thanks again, this post can rest in peace now
You mean using the “Support Main” window instead of the “Support Bug Report” one? Ok I’ll try that, thanks.
Hello,
I destroyed an item from the Nevermore IV collection, specifically it’s the “Ancient Svanir Relic” trophy. Later I realized I would need it again. I already spoke to the NPC at Lions Arch which allows you to recover misplaced items, and it’s not on the list for re-purchase. I also went and did the Snowblind fractal again, but didn’t get the item in the final chest or anywhere for that matter.
The thing is, I already sent a report via the ingame system, but I’ve not received a reply and it’s been a couple of days. Is this a known issue with no solution, or am I just being ignored?
Thanks for your time
What about this one:
“WHAT HAVEN’T I FOUND??? THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!”
lol that one gets so repetitive, I totally understand the other npc when he goes “hmmmm”, like jesus christ woman kitten already xD
I have seen the sheets of aurillium for sale in the exalted NPC at tarir, however I can’t purchase it (probably because I don’t have that collection unlocked). Have you checked there?
I haven’t encountered that one. Still, 4 million plus exp and 12 mastery points to access a jumping puzzle?
The jumping puzzle itself is not even challenging, but it’s part of an achievement. So yeah, if you want to have all the achievements in Auric Basin you need Ley Line gliding. But then again, if you’re the type of person to want all the achievements it shouldnt be a problem for you to get gliding VI, since you’re supposedly a dedicated player.
I don’t have Ley-line gliding as of yet, and I’ve encountered a jumping puzzle in Auric Basin that it seems, requires it.
I couldn’t get to a mushroom with simple lean gliding, from where I could make my way up on the wall.
If you mean the jumping puzzle in the inner chamber in Tarir (Achievement: “Egg bearer”), you do not need ley-line gliding for that. I have done it and I do not have Ley-line gliding.
There is another JP in the jungle which requires ley line gliding.
That escort actually consists of Laranthir and Skybreaker (or whatever his name is). If one of them (usually Skybreaker) doesn’t complete the run because he gets stuck with mobs because no player is doing that part, the event won’t complete even if you escort Laranthir succesfully.
