But where are they? And how do we get their attention?

We need a team that actually reads feedback to continue to develop this class, because it’s obvious no one there gives a kitten what we think.

How do we get Anet to listen to us? I love my thief but now I’m forced to give it up and re-roll… Why can’t we just get fairly balanced like every other class gets? I’ve played my thief since the very first day this game came out, and still play it.
Gonna be sad to stop playing it, but it seems when HoT drops it’ll just be a waste of time, and find myself getting upset in pvp matches because my class is just not suited for it anymore.
We should all CALL Anet and complain, wouldn’t that be something?

Who knows man.. I love my thief but all this is just too much, it’s my main and I’m forced to stop playing it.
Just be like the rest of us, re-roll a necro until things (ever?) get fixed.

Rankings do influence people’s decisions. So does queue times. I suspect they can’t just turn off free server transfers because many servers will be stuck with huge queue times. Then there will be complaining that ANet did it to force people to buy gems because they are greedy.

Rankings are needed for matchups. If you don’t have rankings for matchups, how would you suggest it be implemented?

I would suggest a proper ranking system to be implemented when every server has balance. How is a server supposed to have balance if anybody can move around at their free will? ET and HoD are perfect example of this. Then everybody follows, and a server dies. The battlegrounds are a dead zone at the moment for those 2 servers, and have been for over 2 weeks.

And to solve queue times, EASY. If a server becomes to full and people start complaining about queues, offer free transfers to lower population servers, or servers in LOW tiers, don’t allow people to transfer to the highest ranked/highest population free of charge… Why should people be allowed to transfer to a server that doesn’t need help? Because they want to be #1? So then if you want to be #1, pay for the server transfer. That will have people second guessing before jumping ship like they’ve been doing.

Yes, that’s what I’m getting at as well, server transfers are killing this game. At least for me.

It sounds like your just mad that Henge lost its main alliance and then fell from tier 1. Rankings aren’t the problem. I will concede that server transfers are a huge issue, but restricting or removing free transfers would solve your so called “ranking issue”. I doubt you would complain about rankings if your server was still in Tier 1.

I can promise you that restricting free transfers would solve balancing issues, then once there is server balance, there could be rankings that would mean something. Because right now, rankings mean absolutely NOTHING.

To anyone who thinks WvW is not broken, you are absolutely dead wrong. I play on Henge, and the events that have taken place in the past 2 weeks regarding WvW is absurd, and quite frankly should have never happened and would have never happened if transfers weren’t free.

First of all, get rid of server rankings. What is that garbage? How are the rankings in any way fair? Half the population can switch to a new server with a click of the “transfer” button for any given reason. You shouldn’t be able to do, we’re almost 2 months into this game, what happened to free transfers only allowed in the first week? This is killing the balance in WvWvW very severely, and what is concerning is Arena Net hasn’t even shown any acknowledgement about it AT ALL.

We’re up against Blackgate and Eredon Terrace this week, after a horrendous week of not being able to play WvW against Jade Quarry and SBI. This week is already over, and it’s only been like 24 hours. Blackgate has ALL of our transfers, literally almost every guild that did WvW on HoD is on BG now. Why? Because Arena Net allowed it.
Another week of not being able to play WvW, how long is this gonna go for? Until we drop the last tier?
How long are you going to allow half a server population freely hop around the game ruining server balance to be top tier? Is this gonna be an endless cycle of server hopping until it’s closed?

There’s nobody in our battlegrounds and I don’t blame anybody one bit from HoD, or ET for that matter. Blackgate is already up like 60k, we’re not coming back from that. Why bother playing? That’s what the general population is saying, why bother if we literally don’t have a fighting chance? It’s not fun, at all. This isn’t a blame against BG either, it’s none of your faults. And there’s nothing we can do about it.
It’s making me not want to play this game any more.

Well, there’s my opinion. Hope this doesn’t get locked, considering it is a legitimate issue that isn’t being solved.
