Guild Wars 2

To each their own. I personally like flash, and stay away from the boring stuff that look like starting gear and weapons. I play this game for the fantasy, not real life simulation.

I was looking forward to that this year :/. First they take out Reaper’s Rumble and now Lunatic Inquisition…

Can I take number 38?

1.Druid – Best spec ever, love everything about it; everything.
2.Tempest – Don’t like the warhorn, but the abilities are awesome.
3.Chronomancer – Mages with shield looks weird, but still interesting and fun abilities.
4.Reaper – Not really a fan of death, but it looks interesting enough to play.
5.Dragonhunter – I like the new bow abilities, but not the class in general.
6.Daredevil – Awful name, should have been a martial artist/ninja/monk.
7.Scrapper – Unique but not my style.
8.Herald – Cool concept, not a fan of heavy armor.
9.Berserker – This looks ridiculous to me; don’t think I’ll ever play it.

Who is “we”? I’m not a part of “we.” I’m looking forward to the changes. It’s a fresh start and will integrate wonderfully with the current system.

After a long wait, I am pleasantly surprised and happy that the druid is getting a healing spec. I know it’s not for everyone, but there are a lot of us who do enjoy doing that. With the reveal I now anticipate more exciting encounters in the dungeon, where my team won’t just be stacking and dpsing bosses down. I hope this change will implement strategy and mechanics to future raid and dungeon bosses. I can’t wait to utilize my new skills as a druid. I’ve been playing an elementalist as my main so far, but I will definitely be switching to my druid. My only regret is that they don’t get to turn into various animals. Good job A-net!

Guild Wars 2 is not Monster Hunter. It’s nowhere near that level of gameplay. That’s why the current style requires some sort of trinity – be it support, control or damage. Right now it’s everyone stack here and dps it down, skip half the dungeon because it’s tedious, stack some more here, last boss – done. It’s not fun. If it were implemented like Monster Hunter it would be a little different, but currently it’s not. What mechanics do younspeak of? Because I’ve noticed almost next to nothing when it comes to dungeons. Also, MH is a stat based game because if you don’t have the proper gear on you’ll get creamed or run out of time. Since GW2 apparently advertised it doesn’t do stats either…well. It needs to have something. If it’s missing stats and trinity it means the gameplay needs to be simplified enough that someone can get by without those. Which is why the current level of gameplay when it comes to dungeons is terrible. (aka zerker build and stacking)

I WANT legendary gear. It gives me something to look forward to; something to PROGRESS towards. If I wanted a casual game that I pick up and play for an hour, I’d stick to Candy Crush Saga. But this is an MMO, and without something to look forward to, something to work towards, I stop playing. Because there’s no point. There are only so many achievements and events to do before I get bored completely. I’m not asking for this game to turn into a DPS recount meter, or 450 gear score only PST ordeal, but I’d only look forward to raids if they offered me loot – better gear, legendary gear (because I’d get really excited to open up the chest at the end of an encounter and find something unique to that encounter and not more things I’m just going to sell on the trading post.) I want gear that will help control, support and survive encounters that will hopefully be better than the crappy pull it in the corner and DPS it down as fast as you can mechanics. Otherwise, it’s just a glorified dungeon, and if that’s what you enjoy, I guess you can just keep sticking to those.

No. That sounds ridiculous. Why would I want to celebrate Wintersday in July? That’s like celebrating Halloween in August, or Easter in September. Leave the holiday events in their proper order. It makes them special and something to look forward to. If anything they should have a Summer Festival.

Who thought it was a good idea to have a one day window to buy these? I would love to spend real money on Black Feathered Wings, but I can’t because ArenaNet isn’t selling them any more. What’s even the point of introducing a new item if you’re not going to make it available for everyone to have a chance to purchase it?

Oh no. I didn’t like last year’s Blood and Madness at all compared to 2012’s Shadow of the Mad King. I was hoping for at least new content this year. If they bring anything back they should bring back SotMK instead…

1. Princess – they’re so cute! and because firing them with paint guns in the Infinitrium was the most memorable toy fight
2. Griffin – because fighting them away from the helm and destroying their nest was the second most memorable toy fight
3. Toy Soldier – really noble looking nutcracker charr
4. Golem – the noises it makes are adorable
5. Ventari – …boring

I don’t miss traditional questing at all. I hate backtracking. The system in place now works wonderfully, and is unique.

Finally! Even though I was in the middle of something. But now I’m excited.
