Reaper’s Rumble.
I say no more.
I was not able to play the map you speak of, but I saw some footage of it, it misses the laning style and other features from classic MOBAs. It looks chaotic.
I was first thinking of a firs person MOBA, but it sounded too chaotic or disorganized, the third person view like GW2 is perfect were the camera follows over your shoulder and turns as your character turn (As opposed to League of Legends).
I got a fantastic idea. What happens if you try to make a MOBA mode out of Guild Wars 2?
Anet is already working on a MOBA: http://www.guildwarsinsider.com/new-guildwars-2-dota-moba-gameplay-in-the-works/
But, think how cool it would bet to have the Guild Wars 2 movements, camera and combat system on a MOBA map, with the same concepts in LoL and regular MOBAs with farming creeps, buying gear, leveling abilities, teamwork, monsterbuffs, dragon, jungling, ganking, laning etc.
What are your thoughts? If Anet really makes a great effort in it, it can be a new genre, more like a Action MOBA/Dota or something “AMOBA”
Hope Anet reads this,
I agree with you that the option to skip content for the players who want to reach the end fast shall be there, cause some players enjoys a fast dungeon, etc. I have read around that Anet is looking into the issue, but couldn’t find a thread spesific enough in my opinion. The fact that 95% of all people doing dungeons wants to run and skip content, makes me sad, and half of the times people die, people leave, we replace, somone doesn’t have stability and we get stuck before end boss, people insist to try run again. The thing I enjoy the most is having people trying to overcome the challenge given to us as a group and get rewarded accordingly, and that aspect of this game is totally broken, when one wants to reach the end chest fastest way possible, there is no community, you play for yourself, and that is against everything Anet stands for.
All content except the final reward in dungeons gives us useless loot (vendoring items) Everyone skips/runs past content to get the final reward. This results in a gameplay that players don’t enjoy, and Arenanet did not intend.
This is a message to Arenanet that in order to fix this you must make the trash loot, the boss loot, the events in the dungeon more attractive. I can finnish a path in AC in 10 minutes. With doing all the content like normally, it takes over 30 minutes, but if you do the math, it is not worth it.
Does someone get what I am saying? Does someone feel the same? Or does people enjoy using most of the time in dungeons i.e TA to run past wolves, husks, sylvaris, worms, spiders, just to run to each boss and hope that everyone survives the running.
In summary, ALL CONTENT of a dungeon must be so attractive that players, dont want, and dont enjoy SKIPPING IT.
Regards GW2 fan trying to make this game better.
