I’m having a similar problem. I can play for 10 minutes to an hour though. I have been told by other players they have been having latency issues.

It looks like mine is timing out. But, the event viewer says security issues. Which I guess could be it. Mine started closing me out after I updated to the new version of Raptr suite. Are you setup for automatic updates? And check for firewall settings.

I will be rolling back my GPU drivers. However, I must wait till tomorrow.

Hope there is some useful information in there.

Have you used the -repair program?

Mine has been crashing since the Escape from Lion’s Arch update too. Apparently, people have been having issues like this for a long time though. I’ve ordered a replacement PSU, since when my GW2 crashes it turns everything off. The PSU is also fairly old.

I’m guessing you only crash while playing GW2 no other application?

I’m beginning to think either it is a defect in the game or solutions are highly individualized. Search the forums lots of different solutions. I’ve tried a couple but nothing has worked.

I might just have to break down myself and buy a new PSU.

I’m running 850W. And Cougar’s are a German product. I’m not German but I think they are fairly reputable. The website says they last from 3-5 years though. And, I bought in 2011.

I don’t doubt it could be that but why would it only do it when I’m playing GW2?

Hello all,
I have not been playing GW2 for about a month. I started playing another game that uses DirectX11 (don’t know if that has anything to do with it). I switch back this last week of February 2014. After playing for about 20 minutes the computer completely shuts down. Total memory dump.
It’s has done this 3 times in a row while playing GW2 and nothing else.
I have updated my GPU to the AMD/ATI beta 14.13 to see if it helped. Nope.
Anti-aliasing is on “use application settings”.

Any ideas?

AMD Radeon HD 6800 GPU
Think I’m running 700W through a Cougar that’s worked for about 3 years.
