Small group activity on NSP (and t7 in general) is actually really good right now. We rarely have enough people to have much presence on all 4 maps, so at anytime a 5 man on a map we have no presence on can make a big difference. On a busy map an organized group can perform a lot of flanking or defensive maneuvers around the bigger zergs and see a lot of results. Really with the population we have on NSP every single person counts and can contribute a lot to the whole effort.

So a good week all around. Got hammered at the back end of the week but the first half was great.

Entered EB on Thursday night owning exactly one tower. Left with all our natural back and SM inner at 15%. And while we did fail to take it, I take consolation in knowing we did more damage to SM in that one failed assault then AR did all week.

See you next week!

From a Yak’s player perspective, the problem with this week’s matchup is twofold.

First, SoR has gotten a huge boost in the last week. SoR was in a good spot for our tier at the beginning of last week. Sometime last week SoR seems to have gotten a few transfers from higher tier servers. Y’all had some growing pains that were apparent for a couple of days but then both the quality and the numbers of SoR’s play jumped way up. Yak’s can still put up some good fights on one map, but it is a bloody fight for whatever we hold and in the meantime SoR holds the other three.

Second problem is GoM just doesnt seem to have either the people or the organization to compete with Yak’s and certainly not SoR. GoM can’t mount any sort of comeback without getting rolled by a much larger and better organized SoR force. You can’t blame the SoR players, they just want someone to fight but if I were GoM I wouldn’t poke my head out either.

To all the SoR players complaining about not having a good fight this week, your option is clear. Get your guilds that jumped to SoR last week to jump to GoM this week. Thst probably isn’t the best solution though, we need SOR to move on up and try to get back the parity we had last week in our bracket.
