It’s not the 10.10.3 OSX. I have 10.8.2 OSX and it’s still not working for me.

Have the exact same problem. Best solution is to send a ticket to support, and I’m currently waiting for their reply

I have a great gaming pc. It runs everything new. I have recently purchased the GW2. I have tried every single fix I can find anywhere and it will not install. The client runs then starts to download. It gets to various different stages then drops to 0kbs and sits there. The highest ive ever seen it go is 25mb. Please help or tell me how to go about asking for a refund. I have had this game in the past on another account that is long lost. I never had any issues in the past. Please help

Some have had success with changing the language on the launcher, and then continuing the download. You can change the language back after the download has finished. You can contact the Tech CS Team for assistance. Top of Page – Support – Submit a Request.

I did just that, but when I tried to change by clicking the “restart” confirmation, the clint just freezes and becomes unresponsive. Nothing helps.

I have the exact same problem Hopefully it’s just the game issue and not my computer because I’m all out of ideas and I’ve tried deleting the file and re-downloading it already

I’m using Mac and running on all the required settings to play GW2. I tried to download the game, but at some point the download would stop at 14% doesn’t show that it’s downloading anything. I heard that this can be normal, so I gave it around 5-7 hours to finish downloading (I expected less since it only took 20 mins for it to get to 14%). When I got back, the game was still at 14% and I still couldn’t play.

I decided to quit the launcher and reopen it again. Only this time, when I tried to open the launcher, only the icon appeared and I can’t see the login screen. When I clicked on “show all windows” for gw2, only a blank box appeared (see screenshot below).

I’ve tried to restart the game and computer. I’ve tried to go to the gw2 folder (via "finder’), move it to trash, empty trash, and reopen the launcher again. It seemed to work the second time, but soon after it again stopped at 14% downloaded. I left it for another 5 hours, came back, and the same thing happened as before.

Is there any way to fix this problem??

Additional notes: Whenever I tried to quit GW2, it never actually quits ie. when I right click on the icon and select quit, it’s unresponsive/does nothing. If I ever want to quit guild wars, I either have to close the window or force quit (which I have to do because I can’t even see the window or interact with it).
