Human female body [suggestion]

Uhm… errr… well, thin frame with small chest size is undesireable, meaning anorexia, hm?

That’s an extremely stupid assumption. It could mean.. I dunno, real life? Not everyone has a large frame and has a bust. Believing the only way to obtain both is disorder is ignorant. Its the same as believing the only natural way to get a big bust is to gain a lot of weight or have plastic surgery. People are different. Also, assuming its undesirable is ridiculous. Its insulting to the playerbase that is better than that.

There’s a sylvari frame that’s exactly what they’re pointing out, but its not available to humans.

I agree that there’s a lack of variation in the norn and human for both genders. It only becomes more obvious when you see the variation in the other races. OP is just curious as to why there isn’t as much of a difference for the females.

Thank you for these changes!

I am well aware that a lot of the hatred these last so many weeks is from players that have been around two years.

I too, am two years into this game, but GW2 was my first ever PC game.

I’ll be glad for these changes, even the changing what level you start getting your skills (the trait thing was a bit crazy to get used to though) and weapon swapping. I feel this will help create weapon diversity instead of just sticking to just one weapon for me (esp on classes not previously played). It will also help learn your actual attacks and how the benefit a lot better.

One thing I also think may players don’t think about is just how difficult learning about ASDW .. QE.. Space.. V… 1-0 can be for someone who’s NEVER used a keyboard for such functions. I use a keyboard for work and I use a keyboard daily when not at work. Starting out for me was so difficult I nearly quit many times (mostly Vistas). I was too stressed about just moving to learn about how to play my character. I stayed in Caledon Forest for 50 Levels cause I was STILL learning.

I know everyone has different learning curves. (I now have 10 alts and most are lvl 80 and I know I didn’t get them there from actually knowing my class.)

I feel this new system will help those (that were most likely used to test the system) like me that are new to MMO and PC Gaming. To us that now are used to the older (while new) system, it may not be easy, but it does present new challenges that I feel old players should take on a bit more willingly. Because those new players might be the ones healing you, giving you boons, taking your conditions… Maybe even be in your guild, getting those missions done. They might be why your PvP team gets some serious points in the future.

I plan on staying. As a fan of the game, I respect when they make changes. I also respect when things don’t go right. I don’t love absolutely everything they do and release, but the things I do like outweigh the dislikes by far.

If these Feature Packs cause you to not stay, I’m sorry you feel that way.

(Also, thanks for new TP, Mini and Commander changes, Anet!)

Yours is bursting with response, because the GW2 Twitter featured it in a tweet. (how I found you).

And there’s so much world, and it’s packed with things. It just flows well too.

I’ve been trying to avoid spoilers too! It’s tough though, since some of my friends are further along than I am. xD

Yes, they can follow in story missions too is what I like. I’m horrible at making choices and I was horrible at controls so it was always good to have back up. It’s great because when you see or experience something funny, amazing, or makes you angry… you can share it with someone and it creates awesome inside jokes and stories. We always quote the starter npcs and stuff on Ventari’s Tablet on a daily basis when appropriate (to us).

It is, I’m not a WvW, PvP and such kinda person. I go there to not go against other humans, but for PvE, it’s relaxing. I’m glad we’ve got that variety to choose from.

Oh gosh, I have to agree.

I’ve never played a PC game ever, or any games like this for that matter. I’ve known people that do and I have to say a lot of them were off putting. As an artist, I wanted something pretty.

My fiancee talked to me a lot about GW2 before it’s launch and I got so interested. We were super interested in the Sylvari (he played GW, so he was excited about a lot more than I was). He adores games, they’re a source of inspiration to him. I loved learning about GW2 so much that I preordered it.

When we both got it, I had the damnest time getting to know the controls. I didn’t give up, but I did need to cool off sometimes from all those jumping vistas and stuff. What it did do, was create this whole new thing with my fiancee and me. Him and I have been roaming this world together and chatting about our day as we do our daily achievements and marvel over the look and everything about the game. We’ve bonded so much as a team and as a couple for spending our breaktime from work on GW2 for a half hour once or twice a week.

I don’t have anything to compare it to, but now.. GW2 is a standard. It’s a lovely standard. Every now and then I meet a mean player, but that is nothing compared to the hundreds that are there to help you with questions, events, and dungeons (which I’m not ready to do yet..). I’ve had many laughs and good times with the game. It’s a good getaway from the normal world. And as an artist, it’s spectacular to just look at and be inspired.

Glad to become a part of the community (though not as active).
