My FPS was finally fixed with the September 8th (I believe) patch. As of last night’s patch my game is again running terribly. In fact it seems to be even worse than before. Before the 8th I was getting 15fps at least now I can’t get more than 6-7. I enjoyed the last few days of actual good FPS…please revert whatever terrible change you made. This sucks.
Again, my specs are:
Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 2.53 GHz
4.00 GB RAM
Windows 7 64 Bit Service Pack 1
Nvidia Geforce GTX 260M (Display Driver: 306.02 Beta)

I have had terrible terrible nearly unplayable FPS the entire time. I get 15-16 FPS maximum, typically it’s around 10-12 when I am out in the main zones/areas of the game. Crowded places like Lion’s Arch or events where tons of things are happening/dungeons I get 5 FPS or under. I pre-purchased prior to BWE2 and the game ran excellently for me during BWE2. BWE3 it started having these FPS issues but I thought it would be cleared up by launch since I had a great experience before that. From the headstart till now I have still had these FPS issues.
Naturally I have put up with it anyways because this game really is fantastic but I would really love it if I could get more FPS. My computer (which is a laptop btw) is well above the minimum requirements as far as I can tell and I would honestly be happy even if I could double my FPS to reliably be around 30. Right now this is below-N64 quality of frame rate and that really sucks to deal with on a PC, especially one I have run recent games like Batman Arkham City and Skyrim with high FPS. I hope you guys resolve this as soon as possible, it’s really depressing when I watch my friends play the game with 60 FPS and it runs so fluid and I get slideshow mode.
Oh, and I have tried all of the graphical settings. Almost none of them have made any difference in frame rate. The ones that do only change it by 1 or 2 FPS…enough where I think it is probably negligible. I have been playing with shadows, reflections, etc. on lowest possible settings anyways though.
