I apologise in advance if this is not the correct forum thread, but I hope anet notices that this type of pip rewards is way to dependant on the team you end up with regardles of our experience. As an averafge PvP-er who intends to solo Q, I dont see how if our team is fairly behind, someone ragequits/afks and hopes for idk mabye pitty-pip™ the next round, puts a whole team at a disadvantage as to before (season1) if 4v5 was played well enough throughout, you could at least hope to hold your pips at a 0 loss. Now well unless you end up being by chance of RNGesus on a winning streak I dont see it working my way out of even sapphire much less ruby and i got to ruby 50% fairly easy last time without any mmr exploitation (or whatever some were doing to better their pip reward) as I`m… to be fair pretty lazy to spend time on something I`d need to understand how it works in the 1st place and I got into the ranked very late due to real life matters.
Would also appreciate no l2p remarks, as Typed above I`m an average PvP-er who knows that I can improve as well, but I cant remember the time I`d not at least try to go all the way. Not that it matters now, as unless you win there are times (happens quite often at least to me, even more than last season) that due to big point gap someone starts to rage/afk
