Well, playing soloQ has been a pain lately. A lot of clueless players are joining and it’s pretty hard to carry a match with 1/2 players who have no idea what to do.

I remember we had tickets once, and you had to acquire chests from hotjoin to be able to play tourney so you had to know at least map mechanics to be able to play them.

Wouldnt it be nice to have something like that on SoloQ?

Maybe not only for rank 20’s, but at least 10.

SoloQ is so frustrating cause you always get low rank’s and it is just based on luck now.

I play a bunker as well and I rarely get the highest personal score but that is not the point.

The point of this thread is not just to get something to benefit one player but sPvP in general and teams who feel like they’re bad from start of the match.
Ranked games have become luck based and you have to pray to get a decent team that knows what to do (and like someone already mentioned, ‘’get a team’’ isn’t the question, if Solo Q exists, then people who aren’t that social or don’t have the time for e-friends should get a bit of love too).

Anyway, I just thought this could be a way to motive teams to keep on fighting other than sit afk and bash other people lol. I know it wasn’t the best idea but this whole thing has been ruining my game experience ._.

you can’t know whos the top 1 player, because score doesn’t mean anything, usually a top player in a losing team arent highest scored, some times yes, but mostly no.

Yeah, I know score isnt accurate on saying who’s done better but it would be an incentive for people to do things.

No semi afkers players on points will do better on score than someone really trying to win the game though.

Well, I’ve been playing ranked matches lately non stop and what bothers me the most is that sometimes I do my best but my team just sucks and they don’t try hard enough. It’s like I tried harder than the others but we all end up with the same thing. Just not fair.

What if the Top 1 player on the losing team got the same reward as the winning team AND the match didnt count as a loss? People wouldnt give up on the first 100points difference, they would try harder and even if their team is doing pretty bad, they can still go for TOP 1 and somewhat help their team to catch up.

Anyway, just a thought I guessed it wouldnt cost to share :P

Welcome back. There’s no such thing as perfect build. This is the mentality many players take and then later they come back to complain in the forums. All builds/playstyle across all the professions have their strengths and weaknesses. Each build have separate roles you want in WvW. Please state your playstyle within WvW.

Yeah, that is why I mentioned playstyle. By ’’perfect’’, I meant the build that would fit my needs. :P I’d like to know what people are running, so I can find a build myself

I enjoy WvW roaming. Me and my friend (thief) used to 2vs small groups. (Best Gw2 memories lol)

Ele’s been always my one and only class.
I was never a big fan of glass cannon builds thought which a lot people seem to be running lately O.o

Hello guys! As the tittle says, I took a 6 months break from Gw2, so today when I came back I was totally lost. I heard there were significant changes about Eles after I left thought.

I’m here to ask you for some help about d/d ele and WvW builds. What is the new meta? What are eles going for?
What’s your favorite build for roaming and why?

It’s really important to know your opinion about this, I know people have different play style, but I can work on mine when I get to know what is going on for Eles atm

I wanna work on my ascended armor but first I wanna make sure I choose the perfect build lol

Can you guys just remove Ele from this game, please? Then I’ll be forced to play another class instead of hoping it to get balanced and fixed. I spent so much time on this class for nothing. It was fun to play before the unecessary and pointless nerfs and now it’s just kittening useless, and everybody knows it. People even kick me in parties before I even say something. This is pathetic.

Please Anet, you can do a lot better than that. Don’t say Eles are fine because they’re not. When the game released, it was ok to say that every Ele sucked and they couldn’t play the class right but it’s been a year and we’ve been getting nothing but nerfs or not getting anything AT ALL.

I’ve been playing Ele for like a week now and sometimes I get really frustrated, tried all different kind of builds yet it seems something is missing. I tried playing Mesmer but it wasnt so fun or hard like Elementalist was. I just feel that compared to other classes, Ele is really underpowered. We got no def, no HP and our attacks arent so fast as other classes are and we don’t have the same amount of damage that other classes do. While we are casting an auto attack, a warrior comes and crushes us just by spamming hundred blades. It’s like a glass cannon but no cannon
It takes a loooot more skills to play Ele decently than any other class, which is really sad cause sometimes you are having a really nice 1v1 then a kitten thief comes, spams heartseeker and get you killed in a few seconds.
I love the class and I dont think I will be switching it any time soon but I’d really like to see it being more effective in game.
Maybe I just suck really bad but it’s really hard for me to win a 1v2, even 1v1 fights :/
I just hope that one day I’ll be able to play the class without raging in like 30min XD

I admire Eles for trying so hard to have some fun <3 lol
