I have been having issues making purchases from the gem store all day today. Never had issues before.

I know my card is good (just bought lunch) but on the last step after confirming purchase it says and error occured and to try again later. I have tried every 30 mins for the last four hours…

Is it down due to launch?

I bought the game yesterday and have the same problem as well with installing. Only difference is that i get to around 10-40% before crashing. Would like an answer to this problem.

Yeah, mine tends to drop randomly. The fresh install will get farther in, but the patching goes to about 2-3% before crashing. I’ve had many people recommend various things and I have tried it all… Memory test to see if anything is corrupted, HD scan to see if there is an issue with the HD, Defrag, rename the .tmp file,,… and so on and so on. Still nothing seems to work, and when I left the game a year ago it worked fine. I have not updated any equipment on my computer in that time frame.

Really frustrating!

I am getting this after a fully clean install from a new setup file. It does it mid-patching at the log-in screen. I can log in, and see all the news and such but it crashes before the updates ate fully installed….usually around 2%.

I took a year break from playing GW2 due to work and stuff, but tried to patch everything up to recent last night and it crashed while patching. So, I tried a few more times and it kept crashing while patching. So I created the -repair and it also crashed. At this point I am frustrated and delete ALL GW2 software and data on my pc and do a fresh new install of GW2….It crashes.

Any help as to where to go from here? I would really like to play but i’m about to give up.

I hit 80 on my guardian and now have a full set of Knights and Berserkers, but nothing above exotic in any slot. Now that I have some laurels and am looking to start fracts, what should I focus on getting first? I would like to avoid using laurels on something that I may get in a few weeks of runs…

Is there a guide that someone can link for me on what to switch first, gear-wise, for optimal PVE guardians?
